9：1 耶穌過(guò)去的時(shí)候，看見一個(gè)人生來(lái)是瞎眼的。

　　And as Jesus passed by， he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

　　9：2 門徒問(wèn)耶穌說(shuō)，拉比，這人生來(lái)是瞎眼的，是誰(shuí)犯了罪，是這人呢，是他父母呢。

　　And his disciples asked him， saying， Master， who did sin， this man， or his parents， that he was born blind？

　　9：3 耶穌回答說(shuō)，也不是這人犯了罪，也不是他父母犯了罪，是要在他身上顯出神的作為來(lái)。

　　Jesus answered， Neither hath this man sinned， nor his parents： but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

　　9：4 趁著白日，我們必須作那差我來(lái)者的工。黑夜將到，就沒有人能作工了。

　　I must work the works of him that sent me， while it is day： the night cometh， when no man can work.

　　9：5 我在世上的時(shí)候，是世上的光。

　　As long as I am in the world， I am the light of the world.

　　9：6 耶穌說(shuō)了這話，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和泥抹在瞎子的眼睛上，When he had thus spoken， he spat on the ground， and made clay of the spittle， and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay，

　　9：7 對(duì)他說(shuō)，你往西羅亞池子里去洗，（西羅亞翻出來(lái)，就是奉差遣）他去一洗，回頭就看見了。

　　And said unto him， Go， wash in the pool of Siloam， （which is by interpretation， Sent.） He went his way therefore， and washed， and came seeing.

　　9：8 他的鄰舍，和那素常見他是討飯的，就說(shuō)，這不是那從前坐著討飯的人嗎。

　　The neighbours therefore， and they which before had seen him that he was blind， said， Is not this he that sat and begged？

　　9：9 有人說(shuō)，是他。又有人說(shuō)，不是，卻是像他。他自己說(shuō)，是我。

　　Some said， This is he： others said， He is like him： but he said， I am he.

　　9：10 他們對(duì)他說(shuō)，你的眼睛是怎嗎開的呢。

　　Therefore said they unto him， How were thine eyes opened？

　　9：11 他回答說(shuō)，有一個(gè)人名叫耶穌。他和泥抹我的眼睛，對(duì)我說(shuō)，你往西羅亞池子去洗。我去一洗，就看見了。

　　He answered and said， A man that is called Jesus made clay， and anointed mine eyes， and said unto me， Go to the pool of Siloam， and wash： and I went and washed， and I received sight.

　　9：12 他們說(shuō)，那個(gè)人在那里。他說(shuō)，我不知道。

　　Then said they unto him， Where is he？ He said， I know not.

　　9：13 他們把從前瞎眼的人，帶到法利賽人那里。

　　They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

　　9：14 耶穌和泥開他眼睛的日子是安息日。

　　And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay， and opened his eyes.

　　9：15 法利賽人也問(wèn)他是怎嗎得看見的。瞎子對(duì)他們說(shuō)，他把泥抹在我的眼睛上，我去一洗，就看見了。

　　Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them， He put clay upon mine eyes， and I washed， and do see.

　　9：16 法利賽人中有的說(shuō)，這個(gè)人不是從神來(lái)的，因?yàn)樗皇匕蚕⑷铡Ｓ钟腥苏f(shuō)，一個(gè)罪人怎能行這樣的神跡呢。他們就起了分爭(zhēng)。

　　Therefore said some of the Pharisees， This man is not of God， because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said， How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles？ And there was a division among them.

　　9：17 他們又對(duì)瞎子說(shuō)，他既然開了你的眼睛，你說(shuō)他是怎樣的人呢。他說(shuō)，是個(gè)先知。

　　They say unto the blind man again， What sayest thou of him， that he hath opened thine eyes？ He said， He is a prophet.

　　9：18 猶太人不信他從前是瞎眼，后來(lái)能看見的，等到叫了他的父母來(lái)，But the Jews did not believe concerning him， that he had been blind， and received his sight， until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.

　　9：19 問(wèn)他們說(shuō)，這是你們的兒子嗎。你們說(shuō)他生來(lái)是瞎眼的，如今怎嗎能看見了呢。

　　And they asked them， saying， Is this your son， who ye say was born blind？ how then doth he now see？

　　9：20 他父母回答說(shuō)，他是我們的兒子，生來(lái)就瞎眼，這是我們知道的。

　　His parents answered them and said， We know that this is our son， and that he was born blind：

　　9：21 至于他如今怎嗎能看見，我們卻不知道。是誰(shuí)開了他的眼睛，我們也不知道。他已經(jīng)成了人，你們問(wèn)他吧。他自己必能說(shuō)。

　　But by what means he now seeth， we know not； or who hath opened his eyes， we know not： he is of age； ask him： he shall speak for himself.

　　9：22 他父母說(shuō)這話，是怕猶太人，因?yàn)楠q太人已經(jīng)商議定了，若有認(rèn)耶穌是基督的，要把他趕出會(huì)堂。

　　These words spake his parents， because they feared the Jews： for the Jews had agreed already， that if any man did confess that he was Christ， he should be put out of the synagogue.

　　9：23 因此他父母說(shuō)，他已經(jīng)成了人，你們問(wèn)他吧。

　　Therefore said his parents， He is of age； ask him.

　　9：24 所以法利賽人第二次叫了那從前瞎眼的人來(lái)，對(duì)他說(shuō)，你該將榮耀歸給神。我們知道這人是個(gè)罪人。

　　Then again called they the man that was blind， and said unto him， Give God the praise： we know that this man is a sinner.

　　9：25 他說(shuō)，他是個(gè)罪人不是，我不知道。有一件事我知道，從前我是眼瞎的，如今能看見了。

　　He answered and said， Whether he be a sinner or no， I know not： one thing I know， that， whereas I was blind， now I see.

　　9：26 他們就問(wèn)他說(shuō)，他向你作什么，是怎嗎開了你的眼睛呢。

　　Then said they to him again， What did he to thee？ how opened he thine eyes？

　　9：27 他回答說(shuō)，我方才告訴你們，你們不聽。為什么又要聽呢。莫非你們也要作他的門徒嗎。

　　He answered them， I have told you already， and ye did not hear： wherefore would ye hear it again？ will ye also be his disciples？

　　9：28 他們就罵他說(shuō)，你是他的門徒。我們是摩西的門徒。

　　Then they reviled him， and said， Thou art his disciple； but we are Moses' disciples.

　　9：29 神對(duì)摩西說(shuō)話，是我們知道的。只是這個(gè)人，我們不知道他從那里來(lái)。

　　We know that God spake unto Moses： as for this fellow， we know not from whence he is.

　　9：30 那人回答說(shuō)，他開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道他從那里來(lái)，這真是奇怪。

　　The man answered and said unto them， Why herein is a marvellous thing， that ye know not from whence he is， and yet he hath opened mine eyes.

　　9：31 我們知道神不聽罪人。惟有敬奉神旨意的，神才聽他。

　　Now we know that God heareth not sinners： but if any man be a worshipper of God， and doeth his will， him he heareth.

　　9：32 從創(chuàng)世以來(lái)，未曾聽見有人把生來(lái)是瞎子的眼睛開了。

　　Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.

　　9：33 這人若不是從神來(lái)的，什么也不能作。

　　If this man were not of God， he could do nothing.

　　9：34 他們回答說(shuō)，你全然生在罪孽中，還要教訓(xùn)我們嗎。于是把他趕出去了。

　　They answered and said unto him， Thou wast altogether born in sins， and dost thou teach us？ And they cast him out.

　　9：35 耶穌聽說(shuō)他們把他趕出去。后來(lái)遇見他，就說(shuō)，你信神的兒子嗎。

　　Jesus heard that they had cast him out； and when he had found him， he said unto him， Dost thou believe on the Son of God？

　　9：36 他回答說(shuō)，主阿，誰(shuí)是神的兒子，叫我信他呢。

　　He answered and said， Who is he， Lord， that I might believe on him？

　　9：37 耶穌說(shuō)，你已經(jīng)看見他，現(xiàn)在和你說(shuō)話的就是他。

　　And Jesus said unto him， Thou hast both seen him， and it is he that talketh with thee.

　　9：38 他說(shuō)，主阿，我信。就拜耶穌。

　　And he said， Lord， I believe. And he worshipped him.

　　9：39 耶穌說(shuō)，我為審判到這世上來(lái)，叫不能看見的，可以看見。能看見的，反瞎了眼。

　　And Jesus said， For judgment I am come into this world， that they which see not might see； and that they which see might be made blind.

　　9：40 同他在那里的法利賽人，聽見這話，就說(shuō)，難道我們也瞎了眼嗎。

　　And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words， and said unto him， Are we blind also？

　　9：41 耶穌對(duì)他們說(shuō)，你們?nèi)粝沽搜郏蜎]有罪了。但如今你們說(shuō)，我們能看見，所以你們的罪還在。

　　Jesus said unto them， If ye were blind， ye should have no sin： but now ye say， We see； therefore your sin remaineth.
