12：1 逾越節前六日，耶穌來到伯大尼，就是他叫拉撒路從死里復活之處。

　　Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany， where Lazarus was， which had been dead， whom he raised from the dead.

　　12：2 有人在那里給耶穌豫備筵席。馬大伺候，拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。

　　There they made him a supper； and Martha served： but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

　　12：3 馬利亞就拿著一斤極貴的真哪噠香膏，抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭發去擦。屋里就滿了膏的香氣。

　　Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard， very costly， and anointed the feet of Jesus， and wiped his feet with her hair： and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

　　12：4 有一個門徒，就是那將要賣耶穌的加略人猶大，Then saith one of his disciples， Judas Iscariot， Simon's son， which should betray him，

　　12：5 說，這香膏為什么不賣三十兩銀子周濟窮人呢。

　　Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence， and given to the poor？

　　12：6 他說這話，并不是掛念窮人，乃因他是個賊，又帶著錢曩，常取其中所存的。

　　This he said， not that he cared for the poor； but because he was a thief， and had the bag， and bare what was put therein.

　　12：7 耶穌說，由他吧，他是為我安葬之日存留的。

　　Then said Jesus， Let her alone： against the day of my burying hath she kept this.

　　12：8 因為常有窮人和你們同在。只是你們不常有我。

　　For the poor always ye have with you； but me ye have not always.

　　12：9 有許多猶太人知道耶穌在那里，就來了，不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看他從死里所復活的拉撒路。

　　Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there： and they came not for Jesus' sake only， but that they might see Lazarus also， whom he had raised from the dead.

　　12：10 但祭司長商議連拉撒路也要殺了。

　　But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death；

　　12：11 因有好些猶太人，為拉撒路的緣故，回去信了耶穌。

　　Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away， and believed on Jesus.

　　12：12 第二天，有許多上來過節的人，聽見耶穌將到耶路撒冷，On the next day much people that were come to the feast， when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem，

　　12：13 就拿著棕樹枝，出去迎接他，喊著說，和撒那，奉主名來的以色列王，是應當稱頌的。

　　Took branches of palm trees， and went forth to meet him， and cried， Hosanna： Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

　　12：14 耶穌得了一個驢駒，就騎上。如經上所記的說，And Jesus， when he had found a young ass， sat thereon； as it is written，

　　12：15 錫安的民哪，（民原文作女子）不要懼怕，你的王騎著驢駒來了。

　　Fear not， daughter of Sion： behold， thy King cometh， sitting on an ass's colt.

　　12：16 這些事門徒起先不明白。等到耶穌得了榮耀以后，才想起這話是指著他寫的，并且眾人果然向他這樣行了。

　　These things understood not his disciples at the first： but when Jesus was glorified， then remembered they that these things were written of him， and that they had done these things unto him.

　　12：17 當耶穌呼喚拉撒路叫他從死復活出墳墓的時候，同耶穌在那里的眾人，就作見證。

　　The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave， and raised him from the dead， bare record.

　　12：18 眾人因聽見耶穌行了這神跡，就去迎接他。

　　For this cause the people also met him， for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

　　12：19 法利賽人彼此說，看哪，你們是徒勞無益，世人都隨從他去了。

　　The Pharisees therefore said among themselves， Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing？ behold， the world is gone after him.

　　12：20 那時，上來過節禮拜的人中，有幾個希臘人。

　　And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast：

　　12：21 他們來見加利利伯賽大的腓力，求他說，先生，我們愿意見耶穌。

　　The same came therefore to Philip， which was of Bethsaida of Galilee， and desired him， saying， Sir， we would see Jesus.

　　12：22 腓力去告訴安得烈，安得烈同腓力去告訴耶穌。

　　Philip cometh and telleth Andrew： and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

　　12：23 耶穌說，人子得榮耀的時候到了。

　　And Jesus answered them， saying， The hour is come， that the Son of man should be glorified.

　　12：24 我實實在在的告訴你們，一粒麥子不落在地里死了，仍舊是一粒。若死了，就結出許多子粒來。

　　Verily， verily， I say unto you， Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die， it abideth alone： but if it die， it bringeth forth much fruit.

　　12：25 愛惜自己生命的，就失喪生命。在這世上恨惡自己生命的，就要保守生命到永生。

　　He that loveth his life shall lose it； and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

　　12：26 若有人服事我，就當跟從我。我在那里，服事我的人，也要在那里。若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。

　　If any man serve me， let him follow me； and where I am， there shall also my servant be： if any man serve me， him will my Father honour.

　　12：27 我現在心里憂愁，我說什么才好呢。父阿，救我脫離這時候。但我原是為這時候來的。

　　Now is my soul troubled； and what shall I say？ Father， save me from this hour： but for this cause came I unto this hour.

　　12：28 父阿，愿你榮耀你的名。當時就有聲音從天上來說，我已經榮耀了我的名，還要再榮耀。

　　Father， glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven， saying， I have both glorified it， and will glorify it again.

　　12：29 站在旁邊的眾人聽見，就說，打雷了。還有人說，有天使對他說話。

　　The people therefore， that stood by， and heard it， said that it thundered： others said， An angel spake to him.

　　12：30 耶穌說，這聲音不是為我，是為你們來的。

　　Jesus answered and said， This voice came not because of me， but for your sakes.

　　12：31 現在這世界受審判。這世界的王要被趕出去。

　　Now is the judgment of this world： now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

　　12：32 我若從地上被舉起來，就要吸引萬人來歸我。

　　And I， if I be lifted up from the earth， will draw all men unto me.

　　12：33 耶穌這話原是指著自己將要怎樣死說的。

　　This he said， signifying what death he should die.

　　12：34 眾人回答說，我們聽見律法上有話說，基督是永存的。你怎嗎說，人子必須被舉起來呢。這人子是誰呢。

　　The people answered him， We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever： and how sayest thou， The Son of man must be lifted up？ who is this Son of man？

　　12：35 耶穌對他們說，光在你們中間，還有不多的時候，應當趁著有光行走，免得黑暗臨到你們。那在黑暗里行走的，不知道往何處去。

　　Then Jesus said unto them， Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light， lest darkness come upon you： for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

　　12：36 你們應當趁著有光，信從這光，使你們成為光明之子。

　　While ye have light， believe in the light， that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus， and departed， and did hide himself from them.

　　12：37 耶穌說了這話，就離開他們，隱藏了。

　　But though he had done so many miracles before them， yet they believed not on him：

　　12：38 他雖然在他們面前行了許多神跡，他們還是不信他。

　　That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled， which he spake， Lord， who hath believed our report？ and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed？

　　12：39 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話說，主阿，我們所傳的，有誰信呢。

　　Therefore they could not believe， because that Esaias said again，

　　12：40 他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說，主叫他們瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，心里明白，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。

　　He hath blinded their eyes， and hardened their heart； that they should not see with their eyes， nor understand with their heart， and be converted， and I should heal them.

　　12：41 以賽亞因為看見他的榮耀，就指著他說這話。

　　These things said Esaias， when he saw his glory， and spake of him.

　　12：42 雖然如此，官長中卻有好些信他的。只因法利賽人的緣故，就不承認，恐怕被趕出會堂。

　　Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him； but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him， lest they should be put out of the synagogue：

　　12：43 這是因他們愛人的榮耀，過于愛神的榮耀。

　　For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

　　12：44 耶穌大聲說，信我的，不是信我，乃是信那差我來的。

　　Jesus cried and said， He that believeth on me， believeth not on me， but on him that sent me.

　　12：45 人看見我，就是看見那差我來的。

　　And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

　　12：46 我到世上來，乃是光，叫凡信我的，不住在黑暗里。

　　I am come a light into the world， that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

　　12：47 若有人聽見我的話不遵守，我不審判他。我來本不是要審判世界，乃是要拯救世界。

　　And if any man hear my words， and believe not， I judge him not： for I came not to judge the world， but to save the world.

　　12：48 棄絕我不領受我話的人，有審判他的。就是我所講的道，在末日要審判他。

　　He that rejecteth me， and receiveth not my words， hath one that judgeth him： the word that I have spoken， the same shall judge him in the last day.

　　12：49 因為我沒有憑著自己講。惟有差我來的父，已經給我命令，叫我說什么，講什么。

　　For I have not spoken of myself； but the Father which sent me， he gave me a commandment， what I should say， and what I should speak.

　　12：50 我也知道他的命令就是永生。故此我所講的話，正是照著父對我所說的。

　　And I know that his commandment is life everlasting： whatsoever I speak therefore， even as the Father said unto me， so I speak.
