⑥白雪公主把自己的遭遇告訴了小矮人，小矮人們決定保護她。

⑦皇后知道了森林里的事情，氣得要死。她發(fā)誓要讓白雪公主死掉。

A very long time ago there lived a queen who had a beautiful daughter named White-snow. When the girl was very young, her mother died. Then the king married another queen who was a witch① in fact.

The queen often asked the magic mirror② “Which is the most beautiful woman?” The magic mirror used to answer, “You＇re the prettiest.” When White-snow was still in her childhood, everything went well.

Then White-snow grew up. One day, the queen asked the magic mirror once more, “Who is the most beautiful?” The magic mirror answered, “White-snow is the most beautiful girl.”The queen got very angry and ordered a hunter to kill White-snow. The hunter felt such pity for the girl that he gave a deer heart to the queen and told her that he had killed the princess.

White-snow found a small house in the forest. She put seven small beds together and slept on them. Later, the owners of the house., the lilliputians ③ came home. After the princess told the lilliputians about her experience, the lilliputians decided to protect her.

The queen got to know what had happened in the forest and was extremely angry. She vowed ④ to put the princess to death. She was dressed up as an old farmer＇s wife and wanted the princess to eat an apple, half of which was poisonous. And White-snow Princess died.

When the lilliputians found the princess dead, they put her body into a glass coffin ⑤. No sooner had a prince who rode a white horse seen White-snow than he began to love her. He pulled the apple out of the girl＇s mouth. The princess opened her eyes. The prince and the princess had their wedding⑥, but the queen died of illness.
