Bob thought for a moment, and then said with a nervous laugh, "You wouldn't happen to have another example, would you? I must confess I don't know much about history."
“大夫，”鮑伯問，“您能跟我說下嗎，怎么才能知道一個表現(xiàn)得完全正常的人有智力缺陷？”
“沒比這更容易的事了，”大夫說，“你問他一個誰都能輕松回答的簡單問題，如果他拿不準，那你就有譜了。”
“哦，那什么樣的問題呢？”
“這樣，你可以問他‘庫克船長做過三次環(huán)球旅行，并在其中一次死去，是哪一次？’。”
鮑伯想了一會兒，然后緊張地笑著說：“您不會正好沒別的問題了吧，還有別的么？我得老實說，我對歷史懂得不多。”
