2.識音標，記單詞
snake n.蛇，狡詐的人； v.迂回前進； a snake in the grass（陰險而偽善的朋友）。
sake n.為了……之好處，出于對……的興趣，緣故，理由，日本米酒； for conscience sake（為了對得起良心，為了問心無愧），for all our sakes（為了大家你我雙方）。
wake vt. （woke或waked， woken， waking）叫醒，激發； vi.醒來，醒著，警覺，振奮；n.醒，守夜，尾跡，人，車等經過的痕跡，守喪； in the wake（接踵而至；在…之后）。
lake n.湖；vi.血球溶解；vt.使（血液）發生血球溶解；go jump in the lake （滾開，別來麻煩，別管閑事），the Great Lake（大西洋）。
cake n.蛋糕，餅，塊； vt， vi（caked， caking）結成一塊，干結成硬塊； like hot cakes（爭先恐后地，迅速地），take the cake（得一等獎；超人一等，獲勝）。
quake n.地震，顫抖，發抖； vi搖動，震動，顫動，發抖（with， from， for）； quake with fear（嚇得發抖）。
rake n.耙子，斜度，向船尾的傾斜，放蕩者；vt.搜索，掠過，用耙子耙，使傾斜，收集，搜索；vi.放蕩，過浪蕩的生活；adj.放蕩的；無賴的；淫亂的； as lean as a rake（瘦得皮包骨）。
bake v.烘焙，烤，燒硬。
mistake n.弄錯，錯誤，誤解，過失v.（ mistook， mistaken）弄錯，誤會，誤解，把……誤認為。
3.鄰里鄰外
snake――把snake里的e換為y變為：snaky adj.蛇一般的，彎彎曲曲的
sake――把sake里的k換為v變為：save vt.救，挽救，節省，節約
wake――在wake后加ful變為：wakeful adj.不能入睡的，覺醒的
lake――在lake后加land變為：lakeland n.湖泊地區
cake――把cake里的a換為o變為：coke n.焦（炭）
quake――在quake后加proof變為：quakeproof 防震的
rake――在rake后加hell變為：rakehell n.浪子，放蕩者
take――在take后加over變為：takeover n.接收；接管
bake――在bake后加r變為：baker n.面包師傅
mistake――把mistake里的take換為time變為：mistime vt.使不合時宜
