"ls this stop Bloomington ? " an old lady asked the busdriver.
有個老婦人問公共汽車司機：“這站是布魯明登嗎？”
"No, ma'am, the driver replied.
司機回答：“不是的，太太。”
"We", please tell mo when we get thsre," she requested.
“那么，我們到那站時，請告訴我。”她說。
I'll do that, promised the driver.
“我會的。”司機保證說。
Later, the driver got careless and passed through Bloomington before he realized it. He apologized to the other passengers ,turned around ,and drove back. Then he said to the old lady :"This is the town where you wanted to get out.' "Who wanted to get out?" she asked． The driver said, "You did." “No ,"she said, "my daughter told me that when I pass through this town,l should take my pills."
后來，司機不小心忘了這件事，等他想起來的時候，汽車已經開過了布魯明登。他向其他乘客道歉，掉轉車頭，開了回去。然后他對老婦人說：“這就是你要下車的那個城鎮。“誰要下車？”她問。司機說："你啊。啊“不。”她說：“我女兒跟我說，當我經過這個城鎮時，我就該吃。
