Philip Ⅵ of France was without doubt one of the worst generals in history. At the battle of Crecy in 1346, the inept Philip annihilated his own army. He sent 4000 mercenary Genoese crossbowmen against the English line. They were cut down by the English longbowmen. Seeing the surviving Genoese retreating, the enraged Philip ordered his knights to kill them. While the French cut down their allies - the Genoese - the English rained down arrows on both.Philip then ordered fifteen charges of mounted knights, all of which were stopped by English arrows. At the end of the day, Philip had lost 4000 men, which amounted to a third of his army, while killing less than 100 Englishmen.法 國 國 王 腓 力 六 世 無 疑 是 歷 史 上 少 有 的 無 能 將 領(lǐng) 。 一 三 四 六 年 克 雷 西 斯 戰(zhàn) 役 中 ， 用 兵 無 方 的 腓 力 殲 滅 了 自 己 的 軍 隊(duì) 。 四 千 個 雇 傭 的 熱 那 亞 籍 十 字 弓 手 奉 他 命 令 ， 向 英 國 陣 營 進(jìn) 攻 ， 不 少 死 在 英 國 長 弓 手 箭 下 。 腓 力 看 見 未 死 的 十 字 弓 手 敗 退 ， 非 常 憤 怒 ， 下 令 手 下 騎 士 取 他 們 性 命 。 法 軍 一 面 格 殺 和 他 們 同 陣 線 的 熱 那 亞 人 ， 英 軍 就 一 面 亂 箭 向 雙 方 射 去 。 跟 ， 腓 力 下 令 騎 士 沖 鋒 ， 前 后 十 五 次 ， 每 一 次 都 被 英 軍 弓 箭 手 射 退 。 最 后 ， 腓 力 損 兵 折 將 四 千 人 ， 等 于 軍 隊(duì) 人 數(shù) 三 分 之 一 ， 所 殺 英 軍 則 不 足 一 百 人 。
