christian x, king of denmark, was disturbed by the sight of a nazi flag flying over a public building during the german occupation of his country. he called the german commandant to demand that the flag be taken down. the commandant refused, threatening that any soldier who tried to remove the flag would be shot.
“ i think not, ” said the king, “ for i shall be the soldier. ” he was subsequently imprisoned for taking down the flag.
丹麥被德軍占領期間，丹麥國王克里斯琴十世見一幢公共建筑物上掛納粹旗，中心不懌，召見德軍司令，他把旗除下，那司令不答應，并警告說，去除旗的士兵會被槍殺。
