行人與梧桐樹
At noon in summer, it is extremely hot. Some passersby are very tired. Having seen a phoenix tree, they go under the tree for a rest.
夏季中午時候，十分炎熱，頭頂烈日的幾個行人疲倦極了，看見一顆梧桐樹，便走到樹底下，躺在樹蔭下休息。
Looking up at the tree, they remark to the tree: ‘‘Hey! This tree has not fruit, it is no use. ” The tree answers that: ” You don’t know what’ good. You are getting my favor, but you say that I am useless without fruit.”
他們仰望著寬大的樹葉，彼此大發(fā)議論：“唉，這樹呀，不能結果，對人沒有什么好處。”樹回答說：“不知好歹的人們！你們現(xiàn)在正享受著我的恩惠，還說我是不結果的無用之樹。”
This is to say: Although some people don’t know what good they are getting from others, they still criticize their benefactors.
這是說，有些人不知好歹，享受了別人的幫助，還要貶低別人呢。
