My name is Li Hua. I was born in the city of Dalian, Liaoning Province. I studied in Guangming Primary School from 1984 to 1990. Then I entered NO. 6 Middle School where I mainly learned the subjects like Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry and computer. I have been very fond of and good at English and computer ever since. Therefore I placed first in the school computer competition last year. My hobbies include swimming in summer, skating in winter as well as collecting stamps and listening to popular music in my spare time.
我的名字是李華。我出生在大連省遼寧市。我在光明小學從1984到1990。然后我進入了6中學，我主要學了語文、數學、英語、物理、化學和計算機等學科。我一直非常喜歡和良好的英語和計算機自從。因此，我在去年第一次在學校的電腦比賽中。我的愛好包括在夏天游泳，冬天滑冰以及在我的業余時間收集郵票和聽流行音樂。
1)本文屬介紹說明文中的自我介紹。所謂介紹說明，是指對所要說明的對象作概括扼要而又比較全面的介紹，所以介紹說明又稱概說。這種文體很有用處，比如正式求職信或自薦信的第二段介紹個人履歷時就經常這樣寫，在應聘或投考時的面試(interview)中也要作這樣的口頭表述。
2)個人簡歷這樣的介紹說明文要按照時間順序(time order)安排文章結構。所以，在文章中多用像“from 1984 to 1990”，“then”，“ever since”等這樣的表示時間順序的銜接詞語(cohesive words/transitional words)達到文章在連貫(coherence)。雖然文章在整體上是以時間順序寫的，但也不排除使用其他邏輯關系的銜接詞語。例如，本文倒數第二句開頭用的就是表因果關系的銜接詞“therefore”。這樣，就把由于“I have been fond of and good at English and computer.”，因此“I placed first in the school computer competition last year.”之間的因果關系表達出來了。所以，在安排文章的結構時，說明順序詞語的運用應根據具體情況靈活掌握，不能死搬硬套
