正：There were a lot of passengers killed in the accident．(過去分詞作定語)
或：A lot of passengers were killed in the accident．(簡單句)
■I ran to the old man in a hurry，found the car’s number was AC864．
正：I ran to the old man in a hurry, and found the car’s number was AC864.
析：ran與found兩個動作一前一后，是兩個并列謂語。應在found前加上and。
