新GRE官方范文的重要性不言而喻，大家對(duì)官方范文的態(tài)度也有褒有貶，有人說(shuō)這些6分的官方文章都是大牛寫出來(lái)的，我們學(xué)不來(lái)，于是有的同學(xué)的重心就轉(zhuǎn)向了北美范文。但有一點(diǎn)是不可否認(rèn)的——官方范文是真的6分，可是ETS從來(lái)沒承認(rèn)過(guò)任何一個(gè)北美范文是六分的，盡管也確實(shí)都是很好的文章。

關(guān)于Argument的重要性

很多人認(rèn)為Argument相對(duì)于issue來(lái)說(shuō)容易些，也更好操作些，更容易拿高分。這是個(gè)誤區(qū)，我們最后拿到的成績(jī)是個(gè)平均分，沒有人知道具體每篇是多少。盡管有的同學(xué)會(huì)猜測(cè)自己得分是多少多少，但是猜測(cè)畢竟是猜測(cè)。因?yàn)橛螒蚴荅TS定的，他的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和我們心中接受的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)肯定是不一樣的，打個(gè)比方，看看后面第三篇滿分范文，讓一般人看，估計(jì)沒有幾個(gè)人會(huì)毫不猶豫地給滿分，甚至高分，但在ETS眼中它就是滿分；另外，實(shí)際上模版寫出來(lái)的argument文章和官方范文給出的滿分文章是有很大差別的，主要體現(xiàn)在是一個(gè)是零散湊成的（所謂的讓步式攻擊有時(shí)只是形式上的）而另一個(gè)是有核心思想的，我會(huì)在后面的分析中具體說(shuō)明。既然這樣，那完全有可能最終4分是來(lái)源于3分的arguement加5分的issue,而不是反之。所以說(shuō)，我們有可能高估了我們寫Argument的能力。

3、對(duì)于新GRE官方范文，實(shí)際上這些看上去很天馬行空的文章，潛在的蘊(yùn)涵了ETS所要求的所有要點(diǎn)。之所以很多人看了很多遍沒有看出什么可借鑒的地方，源于兩點(diǎn)：一是沒有和awintro上的要求相對(duì)應(yīng)起來(lái)看，二是沒有把有限的6篇官方范文進(jìn)行橫比。

下面來(lái)看具體的Argument范文

1.The following was written as a part of an application for a small business loan by a group of developers in the city of Monroe.

"A jazz music club in Monroe would be a tremendously profitable enterprise. Currently, the nearest jazz club is 65 miles away; thus, our proposed club, the C Note, would have the local market all to itself. Plus, jazz is extremely popular in Monroe: over 100,000 people attended Monroe's jazz festival last summer, several well-known jazz musicians live in Monroe, and the highest-rated radio program in Monroe is 'Jazz Nightly,' which airs every weeknight. Finally, a nationwide study indicates that the typical jazz fan spends close to $1,000 per year on jazz entertainment. It is clear that the C Note cannot help but make money."

2.The following appeared in a letter to the editor of the Clear view newspaper.

"In the next mayoral election, residents of Clear view should vote for Ann Green, who is a member of the Good Earth Coalition, rather than for Frank Braun, a member of the Clear view town council, because the current members are not protecting our environment. For example, during the past year the number of factories in Clear view has doubled, air pollution levels have increased, and the local hospital has treated 25 percent more patients with respiratory illnesses. If we elect Ann Green, the environmental problems in Clear view will certainly be solved."

3.The following appeared in a memorandum issued by the strategic planning department at Omni Inc.

"Mesa Foods, a manufacturer of snack foods that currently markETS its products within a relatively small region of the country, has strong growth potential. Mesa enjoyed a 20 percent increase in profits last year, and its best-selling product, Diabolique Salsa, has had increased sales over each of the past three years. Since Omni Inc. is interested in reaching 14-to-25 year olds, the age group that consumes the most snack food, we should buy Mesa Foods, and concentrate in particular on marketing Diabolique Salsa throughout the country."

4.The following appeared in a memorandum from a dean at Omega University.

"Fifteen years ago, Omega University implemented a new procedure that encouraged students to evaluate the teaching effectiveness of all their professors. Since that time, Omega professors have begun to assign higher grades in their classes, and overall student grade averages at Omega have risen by thirty percent. Potential employers apparently believe the grades at Omega are inflated; this would explain why Omega graduates have not been as successful at getting jobs as have graduates from nearby Alpha University. To enable its graduates to secure better jobs, Omega University should now terminate student evaluation of professors."
