　　Just as he was busy preparing his thesis defensegraduate student Li Wei (pseudonym) receivedconfirmation that he was HIV positive.

　　正在研究生李偉忙著準備其論文答辯之時，他收到確認結果，自己艾滋病病毒測試呈陽性。

　　"I don't blame him, I only blame myself," said Li,admitting that he had no choice but to accept thematter.

　　李偉說道：“我不怪他，我只怪自己。”他承認自己別無選擇，只得接受現實。

　　The "him" he referred to was a guy he met during atrip last December. After passing several interviews with flying colors, Li was successfullyadmitted to a graduate school in Beijing in December, 2014. As a gift to himself, he decided totake a trip on his own to the southern part of China.

　　李偉所指的“他”是自己去年12月旅行之中的“美麗”邂逅。2014年12月，李偉過五關斬六將，成功收到北京一所大學研究生錄取通知書。作為送給自己的禮物，他決定自己去中國南方旅游。

　　He ended up sharing a room with another guy around his age who was also traveling in theregion. The two hit it off and eventually the conversation turned to sex. Not long after, thetwo were doing more than just talking.

　　他在旅途中與一位年齡相仿的陌生旅友共住一間屋子，兩人一拍即合，最終兩人關系從聊天談心，發展到性愛。

　　"It was a very shabby hostel and there were no condom machines. I didn't even think of usingprotection," Li said.

　　李偉說：“那是個很破舊的青旅，并沒有販賣避孕套的機器，我也沒想過要做防護措施。”

　　After he got the results of his medical exam back, Li tried to call the guy, but no one answered.Out of curiosity, Li searched for the guy's phone number, but the result shocked him:Numerous results linked the number with that of a male sex worker. Li felt furious and helplessat the same time. "I don't have any detailed information to report to the police."

　　當李偉拿到自己的體檢報告時，他試著給那名男子打電話，但沒人接聽。出于好奇，他開始對這個電話號碼進行調查，但結果卻另他大吃一驚：眾多結果把這一號碼和一位男妓聯系在了一起。李偉既憤怒又無助。“我并沒有任何細節信息可以告訴警察。”

　　The only thing he could do was text the guy a message saying: "You totally ruined my life.Please conduct yourself better so you don't ruin anyone else's life again."

　　他唯一能做的就是給那名男子發短信：“你完全毀了我，請你潔身自愛，不要再毀了其他人的生活。”

　　Li's story isn't some isolated incident. In fact, cases of HIV transmission between gay men areon the rise every year.

　　李偉的故事不是一些孤立事件。實際上，每年男同性戀之間傳播艾滋病的案例都在增加。

　　The number of high school to colleague students in China that are HIV positive has risen by 35percent every year over the past five years, Wu Zunyou, the director of the National Center forAIDS/STD Control and Prevention, told the Beijing News.

　　吳尊友是國家艾滋病/性病預防控制中心主任，他告訴新京報，過去五年里，患艾滋病的高中生以及大學生人數以每年35%的速度增長。

　　Sex is the main means of transmission among HIV positive teenagers, among whichtransmission between males makes up the majority of cases.

　　在青少年艾滋病患者中，性傳播是主要原因，而大多數情況下，都是男男傳播。

　　According to a survey conducted by Beijing News, 90 percent of colleague students have abasic knowledge of HIV, yet know little about how to protect themselves properly from thedisease.

　　根據新京報的一項調查發現，90%的大學生對HIV有基本了解，但他們卻不知道如何正確預范，免受這一致命疾病傷害。

　　Many students with HIV contract the disease right after their transition from high school touniversity. Young high school students new to being on their own end up having unsafe sexwith those outside the campus and from there the virus spreads to universities.

　　許多學生都是在高中到大學的過渡期染上了艾滋病。許多年輕的高中學生，上了大學以后，第一次能獨立掌控自己的生活，便與校外人進行不安全性行為，艾滋病毒也就是這樣傳入大學校園的。
