如何用英語做比較
英語中，如果想做比較，可以用比較級這個語法點，形容詞或副詞的比較級+ than + 比較的對象：
She's more beautiful than other girls. 她比其他女孩都漂亮。
I like tea better than coffee. 咖啡和茶，我更喜歡茶。
I make more money than my husband. 我比我丈夫掙錢多。
除了用比較級這個語法點外呢，你還可以選擇用“prefer A to B”和“’d rather do A than B”, 下面分別講解：
“prefer A to B”，意思是A和B比較，更喜歡A，A和B可以是名詞，也可以是動名詞：
I prefer tea to coffee. 咖啡和茶，我更喜歡茶。
Michael prefers watching TV to going to a bar during night. 邁克爾晚上更想呆在家里看電視，而不是去酒吧。
My boss prefers pretty face to ability when hiring a secretary. 我老板選秘書時，更注重漂亮的臉蛋，而不是能力。
下面，再介紹另一種表示比較的普便用法：“’d rather do A than B”，這里的“’d“是would的縮寫，這種用法表示更喜歡做A事，而不是B事。 這里的“do”用實物動詞的原形：I'd rather have black tea than coffee. 與其喝咖啡不如喝紅茶。
I'd rather study English than Japanese. 我寧可選學英語，而不是日語。
Cherry would rather be a journalist than a dancer. 雪莉不想當個舞蹈家，更愿意做一名記者。
