舊約 -- 詩篇(Psalms) -- 第4章
4：1 顯我為義的神阿，我呼吁的時候，求你應允我。我在困苦中，你曾使我寬廣。現在求你憐恤我，聽我的禱告。
Hear me when I call， O God of my righteousness： thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress； have mercy upon me， and hear my prayer.
4：2 你們這上流人哪，你們將我的尊榮變為羞辱，要到幾時呢你們喜愛虛妄，尋梢虛假，要到幾時呢。（細拉）
O ye sons of men， how long will ye turn my glory into shame？ how long will ye love vanity， and seek after leasing？ Selah.
4：3 你們要知道耶和華已經分別虔誠人歸他自己。我求告耶和華，他必聽我。
But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself： the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4：4 你們應當畏懼，不可犯罪。在床上的時候，要心里思想，并要肅靜。（細拉）
Stand in awe， and sin not： commune with your own heart upon your bed， and be still. Selah.
4：5 當獻上公義的祭，又當倚靠耶和華。
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness， and put your trust in the LORD.
4：6 有許多人說，誰能指示我們什么好處。耶和華阿，求你仰起臉來，光照我們。
There be many that say， Who will shew us any good？ LORD， lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.
4：7 你使我心里快樂，勝過那豐收五谷新酒的人。
Thou hast put gladness in my heart， more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
4：8 我必安然躺下睡覺，因為獨有你耶和華使我安然居住。
I will both lay me down in peace， and sleep： for thou， LORD， only makest me dwell in safety.
