24：1 耶和華又向以色列人發(fā)怒，就激動(dòng)大衛(wèi)，使他吩咐人去數(shù)點(diǎn)以色列人和猶大人。

　　And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel， and he moved David against them to say， Go， number Israel and Judah.

　　24：2 大衛(wèi)就吩咐跟隨他的元帥約押說，你去走遍以色列眾支派，從但直到別是巴，數(shù)點(diǎn)百姓，我好知道他們的數(shù)目。

　　For the king said to Joab the captain of the host， which was with him， Go now through all the tribes of Israel， from Dan even to Beersheba， and number ye the people， that I may know the number of the people.

　　24：3 約押對(duì)王說，無論百姓多少，愿耶和華你的神再加增百倍，使我主我王親眼得見。我主我王何必喜悅行這事呢。

　　And Joab said unto the king， Now the LORD thy God add unto the people， how many soever they be， an hundredfold， and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it： but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing？

　　24：4 但王的命令勝過約押和眾軍長(zhǎng)。約押和眾軍長(zhǎng)就從王面前出去，數(shù)點(diǎn)以色列的百姓。

　　Notwithstanding the king's word prevailed against Joab， and against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went out from the presence of the king， to number the people of Israel.

　　24：5 他們過了約旦河，在迦得谷中，城的右邊亞羅珥安營(yíng)，與雅謝相對(duì)，And they passed over Jordan， and pitched in Aroer， on the right side of the city that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad， and toward Jazer：

　　24：6 又到了基列和他停合示地，又到了但雅安，繞到西頓，Then they came to Gilead， and to the land of Tahtimhodshi； and they came to Danjaan， and about to Zidon，

　　24：7 來到推羅的保障，并希未人和迦南人的各城，又到猶大南方的別是巴。

　　And came to the strong hold of Tyre， and to all the cities of the Hivites， and of the Canaanites： and they went out to the south of Judah， even to Beersheba.

　　24：8 他們走遍全地，過了九個(gè)月零二十天，就回到耶路撒冷。

　　So when they had gone through all the land， they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days.

　　24：9 約押將百姓的總數(shù)奏告于王，以色列拿刀的勇士有八十萬。猶大有五十萬。

　　And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king： and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword； and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.

　　24：10 大衛(wèi)數(shù)點(diǎn)百姓以后，就心中自責(zé)，禱告耶和華說，我行這事大有罪了。耶和華阿，求你除掉仆人的罪孽，因我所行的甚是愚昧。

　　And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD， I have sinned greatly in that I have done： and now， I beseech thee， O LORD， take away the iniquity of thy servant； for I have done very foolishly.

　　24：11 大衛(wèi)早晨起來，耶和華的話臨到先知迦得，就是大衛(wèi)的先見，說，F(xiàn)or when David was up in the morning， the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad， David's seer， saying，

　　24：12 你去告訴大衛(wèi)，說耶和華如此說，我有三樣災(zāi)，隨你選擇一樣，我好降與你。

　　Go and say unto David， Thus saith the LORD， I offer thee three things； choose thee one of them， that I may do it unto thee.

　　24：13 于是迦得來見大衛(wèi)，對(duì)他說，你愿意國中有七年的饑荒呢。是在你敵人面前逃跑，被追趕三個(gè)月呢。是在你國中有三日的瘟疫呢。現(xiàn)在你要揣摩思想，我好回覆那差我來的。

　　So Gad came to David， and told him， and said unto him， Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land？ or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies， while they pursue thee？ or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land？ now advise， and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

　　24：14 大衛(wèi)對(duì)迦得說，我甚為難。我愿落在耶和華的手里，因?yàn)樗胸S盛的憐憫。我不愿落在人的手里。

　　And David said unto Gad， I am in a great strait： let us fall now into the hand of the LORD； for his mercies are great： and let me not fall into the hand of man.

　　24：15 于是，耶和華降瘟疫與以色列人，自早晨到所定的時(shí)候。從但直到別是巴，民間死了七萬人。

　　So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed： and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.

　　24：16 天使向耶路撒冷伸手要滅城的時(shí)候，耶和華后悔，就不降這災(zāi)了，吩咐滅民的天使說，夠了，住手吧。那時(shí)耶和華的使者在耶布斯人亞勞拿的禾場(chǎng)那里。

　　And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it， the LORD repented him of the evil， and said to the angel that destroyed the people， It is enough： stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.

　　24：17 大衛(wèi)看見滅民的天使，就禱告耶和華說，我犯了罪，行了惡。但這群羊作了什么呢。愿你的手攻擊我和我的父家。

　　And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people， and said， Lo， I have sinned， and I have done wickedly： but these sheep， what have they done？ let thine hand， I pray thee， be against me， and against my father's house.

　　24：18 當(dāng)日，迦得來見大衛(wèi)，對(duì)他說，你上去，在耶布斯人亞勞拿的禾場(chǎng)上為耶和華筑一座壇。

　　And Gad came that day to David， and said unto him， Go up， rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite.

　　24：19 大衛(wèi)就照著迦得奉耶和華名所說的話上去了。

　　And David， according to the saying of Gad， went up as the LORD commanded.

　　24：20 亞勞拿觀看，見王和他臣仆前來，就迎接出去，臉伏于地，向王下拜，And Araunah looked， and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him： and Araunah went out， and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground.

　　24：21 說，我主我王為何來到仆人這里呢。大衛(wèi)說，我要買你這禾場(chǎng)，為耶和華筑一座壇，使民間的瘟疫止住。

　　And Araunah said， Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant？ And David said， To buy the threshingfloor of thee， to build an altar unto the LORD， that the plague may be stayed from the people.

　　24：22 亞勞拿對(duì)大衛(wèi)說，我主我王，你喜悅用什么，就拿去獻(xiàn)祭。看哪，這里有牛可以作燔祭，有打糧的器具和套牛的軛可以當(dāng)柴燒。

　　And Araunah said unto David， Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him： behold， here be oxen for burnt sacrifice， and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood.

　　24：23 王阿，這一切，我亞勞拿都奉給你。又對(duì)王說，愿耶和華你的神悅納你。

　　All these things did Araunah， as a king， give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king， The LORD thy God accept thee.

　　24：24 王對(duì)亞勞拿說，不然。我必要按著價(jià)值向你買。我不肯用白得之物作燔祭獻(xiàn)給耶和華我的神。大衛(wèi)就用五十舍客勒銀子買了那禾場(chǎng)與牛。

　　And the king said unto Araunah， Nay； but I will surely buy it of thee at a price： neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

　　24：25 大衛(wèi)在那里為耶和華筑了一座壇，獻(xiàn)燔祭和平安祭。如此，耶和華垂聽國民所求的，瘟疫在以色列人中就止住了。

　　And David built there an altar unto the LORD， and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land， and the plague was stayed from Israel.
