1：1 以法蓮山地的拉瑪瑣非有一個(gè)以法蓮人，名叫以利加拿，是蘇弗的玄孫，托戶的曾孫，以利戶的孫子，耶羅罕的兒子。

　　Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim， of mount Ephraim， and his name was Elkanah， the son of Jeroham， the son of Elihu， the son of Tohu， the son of Zuph， an Ephrathite：

　　1：2 他有兩個(gè)妻，一名哈拿，一名毗尼拿。毗尼拿有兒女，哈拿沒有兒女。

　　And he had two wives； the name of the one was Hannah， and the name of the other Peninnah： and Peninnah had children， but Hannah had no children.

　　1：3 這人每年從本城上到示羅，敬拜祭祀萬(wàn)軍之耶和華。在那里有以利的兩個(gè)兒子何弗尼，非尼哈當(dāng)耶和華的祭司。

　　And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli， Hophni and Phinehas， the priests of the LORD， were there.

　　1：4 以利加拿每逢獻(xiàn)祭的日子，將祭肉分給他的妻毗尼拿和毗尼拿所生的兒女。

　　And when the time was that Elkanah offered， he gave to Peninnah his wife， and to all her sons and her daughters， portions：

　　1：5 給哈拿的卻是雙分，因?yàn)樗麗酃谩o(wú)奈耶和華不使哈拿生育。

　　But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion； for he loved Hannah： but the LORD had shut up her womb.

　　1：6 毗尼拿見耶和華不使哈拿生育，就作她的對(duì)頭，大大激動(dòng)她，要使她生氣。

　　And her adversary also provoked her sore， for to make her fret， because the LORD had shut up her womb.

　　1：7 每年上到耶和華殿的時(shí)候，以利加拿都以雙分給哈拿。毗尼拿仍是激動(dòng)她，以致她哭泣不吃飯。

　　And as he did so year by year， when she went up to the house of the LORD， so she provoked her； therefore she wept， and did not eat.

　　1：8 她丈夫以利加拿對(duì)她說，哈拿阿，你為何哭泣，不吃飯，心里愁悶?zāi)亍Ｓ形也槐仁畟€(gè)兒子還好嗎。

　　Then said Elkanah her husband to her， Hannah， why weepest thou？ and why eatest thou not？ and why is thy heart grieved？ am not I better to thee than ten sons？

　　1：9 他們?cè)谑玖_吃喝完了，哈拿就站起來。祭司以利在耶和華殿的門框旁邊，坐在自己的位上。

　　So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh， and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

　　1：10 哈拿心里愁苦，就痛痛哭泣，祈禱耶和華，And she was in bitterness of soul， and prayed unto the LORD， and wept sore.

　　1：11 許愿說，萬(wàn)軍之耶和華阿，你若垂顧婢女的苦情，眷念不忘婢女，賜我一個(gè)兒子，我必使他終身歸與耶和華，不用剃頭刀剃他的頭。

　　And she vowed a vow， and said， O LORD of hosts， if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid， and remember me， and not forget thine handmaid， but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child， then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life， and there shall no razor come upon his head.

　　1：12 哈拿在耶和華面前不住地祈禱，以利定睛看她的嘴。

　　And it came to pass， as she continued praying before the LORD， that Eli marked her mouth.

　　1：13 原來哈拿心中默禱，只動(dòng)嘴唇，不出聲音，因此以利以為她喝醉了。

　　Now Hannah， she spake in her heart； only her lips moved， but her voice was not heard： therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

　　1：14 以利對(duì)她說，你要醉到幾時(shí)呢。你不應(yīng)該喝酒。

　　And Eli said unto her， How long wilt thou be drunken？ put away thy wine from thee.

　　1：15 哈拿回答說，主阿，不是這樣。我是心里愁苦的婦人，清酒濃酒都沒有喝，但在耶和華面前傾心吐意。

　　And Hannah answered and said， No， my lord， I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit： I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink， but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

　　1：16 不要將婢女看作不正經(jīng)的女子。我因被人激動(dòng)，愁苦太多，所以祈求到如今。

　　Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial： for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

　　1：17 以利說，你可以平平安安地回去。愿以色列的神允準(zhǔn)你向他所求的。

　　Then Eli answered and said， Go in peace： and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

　　1：18 哈拿說，愿婢女在你眼前蒙恩。于是婦人走去吃飯，面上再不帶愁容了。

　　And she said， Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way， and did eat， and her countenance was no more sad.

　　1：19 次日清早，他們起來，在耶和華面前敬拜，就回拉瑪。到了家里，以利加拿和妻哈拿同房，耶和華顧念哈拿，And they rose up in the morning early， and worshipped before the LORD， and returned， and came to their house to Ramah： and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife； and the LORD remembered her.

　　1：20 哈拿就懷孕。日期滿足，生了一個(gè)兒子，給他起名叫撒母耳，說，這是我從耶和華那里求來的。

　　Wherefore it came to pass， when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived， that she bare a son， and called his name Samuel， saying， Because I have asked him of the LORD.

　　1：21 以利加拿和他全家都上示羅去，要向耶和華獻(xiàn)年祭，并還所許的愿。

　　And the man Elkanah， and all his house， went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice， and his vow.

　　1：22 哈拿卻沒有上去，對(duì)丈夫說，等孩子斷了奶，我便帶他上去朝見耶和華，使他永遠(yuǎn)住在那里。

　　But Hannah went not up； for she said unto her husband， I will not go up until the child be weaned， and then I will bring him， that he may appear before the LORD， and there abide for ever.

　　1：23 她丈夫以利加拿說，就隨你的意行吧。可以等兒子斷了奶。但愿耶和華應(yīng)驗(yàn)他的話。于是婦人在家里乳養(yǎng)兒子，直到斷了奶。

　　And Elkanah her husband said unto her， Do what seemeth thee good； tarry until thou have weaned him； only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode， and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

　　1：24 既斷了奶，就把孩子帶上示羅，到了耶和華的殿。又帶了三只公牛，一伊法細(xì)面，一皮袋酒。那時(shí)孩子還小。

　　And when she had weaned him， she took him up with her， with three bullocks， and one ephah of flour， and a bottle of wine， and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh： and the child was young.

　　1：25 宰了一只公牛，就領(lǐng)孩子到以利面前。

　　And they slew a bullock， and brought the child to Eli.

　　1：26 婦人說，主阿，我敢在你面前起誓，從前在你這里站著祈求耶和華的那婦人，就是我。

　　And she said， Oh my lord， as thy soul liveth， my lord， I am the woman that stood by thee here， praying unto the LORD.

　　1：27 我祈求為要得這孩子。耶和華已將我所求的賜給我了。

　　For this child I prayed； and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him：

　　1：28 所以，我將這孩子歸與耶和華，使他終身歸與耶和華。于是在那里敬拜耶和華。

　　Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD； as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.
