舊約 -- 申命記(Deuteronomy) -- 第24章
24:1 人若娶妻以后,見她有什么不合理的事,不喜悅她,就可以寫休書交在她手中,打發(fā)她離開夫家。
When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
24:2 婦人離開夫家以后,可以去嫁別人。
And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.
24:3 后夫若恨惡她,寫休書交在她手中,打發(fā)她離開夫家,或是娶她為妻的后夫死了,And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
24:4 打發(fā)她去的前夫不可在婦人玷污之后再娶她為妻,因?yàn)檫@是耶和華所憎惡的。不可使耶和華你神所賜為業(yè)之地被玷污了。
Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
24:5 新娶妻之人不可從軍出征,也不可托他辦理什么公事,可以在家清閑一年,使他所娶的妻快活。
When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.
24:6 不可拿人的全盤磨石或是上磨石作當(dāng)頭,因?yàn)檫@是拿人的命作當(dāng)頭。
No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man's life to pledge.
24:7 若遇見人拐帶以色列中的一個弟兄,當(dāng)奴才待他,或是賣了他,那拐帶人的就必治死。這樣,便將那惡從你們中間除掉。
If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
24:8 在大麻瘋的災(zāi)病上,你們要謹(jǐn)慎,照祭司利未人一切所指教你們的留意遵行。我怎樣吩咐他們,你們要怎樣遵行。
Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.
24:9 當(dāng)記念出埃及后,在路上,耶和華你神向米利暗所行的事。
Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt.
24:10 你借給鄰舍,不拘是什么,不可進(jìn)他家拿他的當(dāng)頭。
When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
24:11 要站在外面,等那向你借貸的人把當(dāng)頭拿出來交給你。
Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.
24:12 他若是窮人,你不可留他的當(dāng)頭過夜。
And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:
24:13 日落的時候,總要把當(dāng)頭還他,使他用那件衣服蓋著睡覺,他就為你祝福。這在耶和華你神面前就是你的義了。
In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.
24:14 困苦窮乏的雇工,無論是你的弟兄或是在你城里寄居的,你不可欺負(fù)他。
Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:
24:15 要當(dāng)日給他工價,不可等到日落。因?yàn)樗F苦,把心放在工價上,恐怕他因你求告耶和華,罪便歸你了。
At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
24:16 不可因子殺父,也不可因父殺子。凡被殺的都為本身的罪。
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
24:17 你不可向寄居的和孤兒屈枉正直,也不可拿寡婦的衣裳作當(dāng)頭。
Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:
24:18 要記念你在埃及作過奴仆。耶和華你的神從那里將你救贖,所以我吩咐你這樣行。
But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
24:19 你在田間收割莊稼,若忘下一捆,不可回去再取,要留給寄居的與孤兒寡婦。這樣,耶和華你神必在你手里所辦的一切事上賜福與你。
When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
24:20 你打橄欖樹,枝上剩下的,不可再打。要留給寄居的與孤兒寡婦。
When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
24:21 你摘葡萄園的葡萄,所剩下的,不可再摘。要留給寄居的與孤兒寡婦。
When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
24:22 你也要記念你在埃及地作過奴仆,所以我吩咐你這樣行。
And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
