舊約 -- 利未記(Leviticus) -- 第12章
12：1 耶和華對摩西說，And the LORD spake unto Moses， saying，
12：2 你曉諭以色列人說，若有婦人懷孕生男孩，她就不潔凈七天，像在月經污穢的日子不潔凈一樣。
Speak unto the children of Israel， saying， If a woman have conceived seed， and born a man child： then she shall be unclean seven days； according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
12：3 第八天，要給嬰孩行割禮。
And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
12：4 婦人在產血不潔之中，要家居三十三天。她潔凈的日子未滿，不可摸圣物，也不可進入圣所。
And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days； she shall touch no hallowed thing， nor come into the sanctuary， until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
12：5 她若生女孩，就不潔凈兩個七天，像污穢的時候一樣，要在產血不潔之中，家居六十六天。
But if she bear a maid child， then she shall be unclean two weeks， as in her separation： and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
12：6 滿了潔凈的日子，無論是為男孩是為女孩，她要把一歲的羊羔為燔祭，一只雛鴿或是一只斑鳩為贖罪祭，帶到會幕門口交給祭司。
And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled， for a son， or for a daughter， she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering， and a young pigeon， or a turtledove， for a sin offering， unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation， unto the priest：
12：7 祭司要獻在耶和華面前，為她贖罪，她的血源就潔凈了。這條例是為生育的婦人，無論是生男生女。
Who shall offer it before the LORD， and make an atonement for her； and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
12：8 她的力量若不夠獻一只羊羔，她就要取兩只斑鳩或是兩只雛鴿，一只為燔祭，一只為贖罪祭。祭司要為她贖罪，她就潔凈了。
And if she be not able to bring a lamb， then she shall bring two turtles， or two young pigeons； the one for the burnt offering， and the other for a sin offering： and the priest shall make an atonement for her， and she shall be clean.
