Act i. Sc. 1. That shows thee a weak slave；for the weakest goes to the wall.這正說明你是個軟弱無能的奴才；只有最沒出息的家伙，才去墻底下躲難。
Act i. Sc. 2. One fire burns out another‘s burning. One pain is lessened by another’s anguish.新的火焰可以把舊的火焰撲滅，大的苦痛可以使小的苦痛減輕；
