哭泣的王子
The eyes happy prince was filled with tears, and tears were running down his golden cheeks. His face was so beautiful in the moonlight, that the little swallow was filled with pity.
快樂王子的雙眼充滿了淚水，淚珠順著他金黃的臉頰淌了下來。王子的臉在月光下美麗無比，小燕子頓生憐憫之心。
Who are you ? he said.
你是誰？他問對方。
I am the happy prince.
我是快樂王子。
Why are you weeping then? asked swallow. You have quite drench to me .
那么你為什么哭呢？燕子又問，你把我的身上都打濕了。
When I was alive , and I had a human heart, answered the statue, I did not know what the tears were for I lived in the palace of sans souci where sorrow is not allowed to enter. In the daytime, I played with my companions in the garden, and in the evening ,I let the bans in the great hall. Round the garden, when the vary lot of war, but I never care to ask what they beyond it, everything about me was so beautiful. My cottiers called me the happy prince, the happy indeed I was, if pleasure be happiness. So i lived and so I died. And now ,that I am dead, they have setting me up here so high, but I can see all the upness, and all the misery of my city. even though, my heart is made of lead , but I can not choose but weep.
以前在我有顆人心而活著的時候，雕像開口說道，我并不知道眼淚是什么東西，因為那時我住在逍遙自在的王宮里，那是個哀愁無法進去的地方。白天人們伴著我在花園里玩，晚上我在大廳里領頭跳舞。沿著花園有一堵高高的圍墻，可我從沒想到去圍墻那邊有什么東西，我身邊的一切太美好了。我的臣仆們都叫我快樂王子，的確，如果歡愉就是快樂的話，那我真是快樂無比。我就這么活著，也這么死去。而眼下我死了，他們把我這么高高地立在這兒，使我能看見自己城市中所有的丑惡和貧苦，盡管我的心是鉛做的，可我還是忍不住要哭。
