My Creed 我的信念
I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon – if I can.
我不選擇做一個平凡的人，與別人不同是我的權力 – 如果我可以的話。
I seek opportunity – not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me.
我尋找機會 – 不是安全，我不希望成為被保護的公民，受國家照顧而變得謙卑或遲鈍。
I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed.
我想冒算計過的險；去夢想去創造，去失敗或成功。
I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia.
我拒絕以成功的誘因換取救濟金。我喜歡挑戰，勝過活著的保證；喜歡實現目標帶來的興奮，勝過烏托邦里了無新意的平靜。
I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat.
我不會拿自由交換別人的慈善，或拿尊嚴交換別人的施舍。我絕不會因任何大人向后退縮，或因任何威脅而彎腰屈膝。
