【寫法指要】
求職信（Letters of application for a position）是應聘者向招聘單位的主管投寄的書信。寫這種信的目的是為了讓招聘單位了解你的學歷、經驗、能力、專長、成果、愿望等。所以，寫信時要盡量向對方表現你的長處，以便給人一個好的印象，獲得面試的機會。
寫求職信應注意以下幾點：
1）首先要開門見山說明申請理由，即見廣告而應聘、或經熟人介紹，或為了專業對口，或為了調回家鄉等。不要先寫個人情況。這一點與漢語書信的寫法不同。
2）概括本人學歷、經歷和特點，表明能勝任此項工作。但切忌夸大、吹噓。
3）盡量說應聘部門的好處。不要損害他人，如批評原雇主等。否則對你申請工作有害無益。
4）不要申請你不能勝任的工作，而應申請熟悉的、能干得好的工作。
5）不要自貶。寫求職信不是謙虛或虛偽的場合，你低估自己別人也會瞧不起你。
6）求職信一般是寫給不熟悉的人的，所以要用正式文體和格式寫；語言要簡單、明白，不要賣弄學問，用一些別人看不懂的詞句。
