High and Low Voice

Notes
(1)high-pitched、low-pitched:這里的pitch意為“音調、音域”。pitch的常用意思是“瀝青”，如：Touch pitch, and you will be defiled.近朱者赤，近墨者黑。
(2)scolds:動詞原型為scold，意為“責備”。
