Archbishop Tait
Tait had a terrible fear that he would be struck one day with paralysis． On one occasion he was dining at the Duke of Westminster's house and suddenly he became ghastly white．
Laying down his knife and fork by the plate,he said to himself in a suppressed voice: "It has come to pass at last as I feared．I have been dreading,expecting a stroke．"
"Console yourself, your Grace," said the Duchess of Sutherland, who sat beside him．" It is not your leg but mine that you have been pinching．"

泰特非常害怕有一天他會中風癱瘓。有一次他正在威斯敏斯特公爵家中吃飯，突然他變得面無人色。
他把刀叉放在盤子旁邊，壓低聲音自言自語：“就像我擔心的那樣，這事終于發生了。我一直在害怕,料想會中風的?！?
“放心，閣下，”薩德蘭公爵夫人說，她坐在他的旁邊。
“您掐的是我的腿，不是您的?！?/P>
