第 一 個 逃 兵
after his ill-fated invasion of russia in 1812, napoleon, alarmed by unrest at home, left his army in the lurch and rushed back virtually unaccompanied. he shortly arrived at the river neman, and asked the ferryman if many deserters had passed that way. "no," the russian replied, "you're the first."
拿破侖一八一二年將兵侵俄，失利敗績。他見法國本土震動，非常擔心，棄部曲于危難之中，自己匆匆返國，幾乎沒有一人相從。不久，他來到涅漫河，問那擺渡人有沒有很多逃兵路過。那俄國人說：「沒有，先生是第一個。」
