Come down quietly
Teddy came thundering down the stairs. That made his father very angry.
"Teddy！" he yelled. "How many times have I got to tell you to come down the stairs quietly？ Now, go back up and come down like a civilized human being."
There was a silence, and Teddy reappeared in the front room.
"That's better," said his father. "Now will you always come down stairs like that？"
"Suits me," said Teddy. "I slid down the banister."
Teddy下樓的時候弄得震天響,這讓他爸爸非常生氣。
他叫住Teddy:“Teddy,我和你說了多少遍下樓梯時要安靜？現在回去樓上,像一個文明人那樣下一遍樓?！?/p>
這次Teddy沒弄出什么聲響就下了樓,來到了客廳。
他爸爸說:“這還不錯。你能不能每次都這樣下樓？”
“正合我的口味,”Teddy回答到?！拔沂菑臉翘莘鍪稚匣聛淼?。”
A New Baby
Little Johnny's new baby brother was crying loudly. Johnny asked his mom, "Where did we get him？"
His mother replied, "He came from heaven, Johnny."
Johnny says, "WOW！ I can see why they threw him out！"
小Johnny剛出生沒多久的弟弟哭得非常響。Johnny問他的媽媽:“他是從哪兒來的？”
媽媽回答到::“他是從天堂來的,Johnny.”
Johnny說到:“哇！我知道他們為什么要把他扔出來了！”
