?為期5天的聯合國海洋大會(United Nations Ocean Conference)正在紐約聯合國總部舉行。大會期間，中國國家海洋局副局長林山青表示，國際社會應在國際、區域和國家層面(at the international, regional and national levels)實現海洋經濟發展(marine economic development)優勢互補，發展環境友好型(environmentally friendly)的產業業態。
?藍色經濟(blue economy)是指發展依賴于海洋或與海洋相關的環境友好型產業和經濟(ocean-based or ocean-relevant environmentally friendly marine industries and economy)。藍色經濟對中國這樣的海洋大國至關重要，今后藍色經濟在國民經濟中所占比重會越來越高。
?此次聯合國海洋大會旨在確保2030年可持續發展議程(2030 Sustainable Development Goal agenda)中第14個目標——養護和可持續利用海洋和海洋資源以促進可持續發展(conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development)能夠得以落實。大會討論了海洋污染(marine pollution)、海洋生態保護(protection of the marine ecosystem)、海水酸化(ocean acidification)、可持續漁業(sustainable fishery)、海洋科研能力(marine scientific research capacity)等議題，呼吁社會各界采取措施，減少人類活動對海洋和海洋資源的威脅。
