英語短文：與世隔絕的一天
我們身邊很多人平時不怎么休假，就算休假了也要24小時開機，隨時查閱工作郵件，生怕錯過了公司的什么重要通知。這樣的休假基本屬于待命假日，精神還是處于緊張狀態(tài)。近幾年，國外一些旅游度假區(qū)開始推廣“黑洞度假”理念，在他們那里度假，你的所有電子設備都沒有用武之地，因為手機和網(wǎng)絡信號都被屏蔽了。你能做的就是全身心投入這個假期，過一段“與世隔絕”的悠閑時光。
After years of creating destinations bristling with connective gadgets, resorts are now trumpeting their unreachability heralding the advent of so-called black-hole resorts, where mobile phones and internet signals are banned, no televisions available and even alarm clocks are frowned upon.
各地旅游度假勝地在經(jīng)過幾年潛心經(jīng)營、并裝備各類信號傳輸設備后，突然劍鋒一轉，開始走信號阻斷路線，開始創(chuàng)建“黑洞度假區(qū)”（black-hole resorts）。所謂的“黑洞度假區(qū)”就是指沒有手機和網(wǎng)絡接收信號，不配電視，甚至連鬧鐘都不鼓勵使用的度假旅游區(qū)。
All gadgets were locked away in the resort safe and instead clients focused on themselves and those around them.
游客們到達之后，所有的電子設備都會被鎖在景區(qū)的保險柜里，這樣他們才可以真正專注于自身以及周圍的人。
There is definitely a growing appetite out there for this kind of technology-free holidays; it"s almost the 'anti-trend' or reverse of the proliferation we saw a few years ago in state of the art technology in hotel suites and 24/7 ever-present Wi-Fi connection.
這種不帶任何高科技設備、純天然的度假方式正在吸引越來越多人關注。與幾年前酒店套房都配備高科技設備并且24小時有無線網(wǎng)絡信號的做法相比，這完全是一種“反潮流”的做法。
