there was once a lonely girl who longed so much for love. one day while he was walking in the woods she found two starving songbirds. she took them home and put them in a small cage. she cared them with love and the birds grew strong. every morning they greeted her with a wonderful song. the girl felt great love for the birds.
one day the girl left the door to the cage open. the larger and stronger of the two birds flew from the cage. the girl was so frightened that he would fly away. as he flew close, she grasped him wildly. her heart felt glad at her success in capturing him. suddenly she felt the bird go limp. she opened her hand and stared in horror at the dead bird. her desperate love had killed him. she noticed the other bird moving back and forth on the edge of the cage. she could feel his great need for freedom. he needed to soar into the clear, blue sky. she lifted him from the cage and tossed him softly into the air. the bird circled once, twice, three times. the girl watched delightedly at the bird’s enjoyment. her heart was no longer concerned with her own loss. she wanted the bird to be happy. suddenly the bird flew closer and landed softly on her shoulder. it song the sweetest melody that she had ever heard.
this story tells us: the fastest way to lose love is to hold on it too tight, the best way to keep love is to give it wing!
從前有個寂寞的女孩兒非常渴望愛的來臨。一天，當她在叢林中散步的時候，發(fā)現(xiàn)了兩只快要被餓死的小鳥。女孩兒十分同情它們，于是便小心地將鳥兒捧了

一天， 女孩兒打開鳥籠喂食。那只較大的鳥兒突然飛了出來。見到這一情形，女孩兒十分驚恐，她非常擔心鳥兒會飛走，于是便不顧一切地抓住了它，并將它緊緊地握在手中。女孩兒非常高興，終于又把它捉了回來。可突然間，她發(fā)現(xiàn)手中的鳥兒漸漸變得四肢無力了。她連忙松開了緊握的雙手，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)鳥兒已經(jīng)死去。女孩兒傷心地看著它，突然想到是自己不顧一切的愛害死了它。就在此時，另一只鳥兒在籠子里拼命地扇著翅膀，想從籠子里沖出來。女孩兒深切地感受到它對自由的無限向往---它渴望在湛藍的天空中自由翱翔。于是女孩兒便把它放了出來，她用雙手將鳥兒托起，并輕輕地拋向空中。鳥兒嗖地一下子飛向窗外，它在空中盤旋著，一圈，兩圈，三圈……看著鳥兒那快樂的樣子，女孩兒高興極了。她已無暇顧及自己所失去的一切，只希望鳥兒能得到幸福。突然，鳥兒飛近了，輕輕地落在她的肩上，唱起了它最動聽的——一支女孩兒從未聽到過的歌。
這個故事告訴我們：當你將愛死死地抓在手中，你很快就會失去它，當你給愛一對翅膀——將愛放飛，那么愛就會永駐。
