舊約 -- 詩篇(Psalms) -- 第56章
56：1 （非利士人在迦特拿住大衛。那時他作這金詩，交與伶長，調用遠方無聲鴿）神阿，求你憐憫我，因為人要把我吞了，終日攻擊欺壓我。
Be merciful unto me， O God： for man would swallow me up； he fighting daily oppresseth me.
56：2 我的仇敵終日要把我吞了。因逞驕傲攻擊我的人甚多。
Mine enemies would daily swallow me up： for they be many that fight against me， O thou most High.
56：3 我懼怕的時候要倚靠你。
What time I am afraid， I will trust in thee.
56：4 我倚靠神。我要贊美他的話。我倚靠神，必不懼怕。血氣之輩能把我怎嗎樣呢。
In God I will praise his word， in God I have put my trust； I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
56：5 他們終日顛倒我的話。他們一切的心思，都是要害我。
Every day they wrest my words： all their thoughts are against me for evil.
56：6 他們聚集，埋伏窺探我的腳蹤。等候要害我的命。
They gather themselves together， they hide themselves， they mark my steps， when they wait for my soul.
56：7 他們豈能因罪孽逃脫嗎。神阿，求你在怒中使眾民墮落。
Shall they escape by iniquity？ in thine anger cast down the people， O God.
56：8 我幾次流離，你都記數。求你把我眼淚裝在你的皮袋里。這不都記在你冊子上嗎。
Thou tellest my wanderings： put thou my tears into thy bottle： are they not in thy book？
56：9 我呼求的日子，我的仇敵都要轉身退后。神幫助我，這是我所知道的。
When I cry unto thee， then shall mine enemies turn back： this I know； for God is for me.
56：10 我倚靠神。我要贊美他的話。我倚靠耶和華。我要贊美他的話。
In God will I praise his word： in the LORD will I praise his word.
56：11 我倚靠神，必不懼怕。人能把我怎嗎樣呢。
In God have I put my trust： I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
56：12 神阿，我向你所許的愿在我身上。我要將感謝祭獻給你。
Thy vows are upon me， O God： I will render praises unto thee.
56：13 因為你救我的命脫離死亡。你豈不是救護我的腳不跌倒，使我在生命光中行在神面前嗎。
For thou hast delivered my soul from death： wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling， that I may walk before God in the light of the living？
