17：1 基列寄居的提斯比人以利亞對亞哈說，我指著所事奉永生耶和華以色列的神起誓，這幾年我若不禱告，必不降露，不下雨。

　　And Elijah the Tishbite， who was of the inhabitants of Gilead， said unto Ahab， As the LORD God of Israel liveth， before whom I stand， there shall not be dew nor rain these years， but according to my word.

　　17：2 耶和華的話臨到以利亞說，And the word of the LORD came unto him， saying，

　　17：3 你離開這里往東去，藏在約旦河東邊的基立溪旁。

　　Get thee hence， and turn thee eastward， and hide thyself by the brook Cherith， that is before Jordan.

　　17：4 你要喝那溪里的水，我已吩咐烏鴉在那里供養(yǎng)你。

　　And it shall be， that thou shalt drink of the brook； and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

　　17：5 于是以利亞照著耶和華的話，去住在約旦河東的基立溪旁。

　　So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD： for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith， that is before Jordan.

　　17：6 烏鴉早晚給他叼餅和肉來，他也喝那溪里的水。

　　And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning， and bread and flesh in the evening； and he drank of the brook.

　　17：7 過了些日子，溪水就乾了，因為雨沒有下在地上。

　　And it came to pass after a while， that the brook dried up， because there had been no rain in the land.

　　17：8 耶和華的話臨到他說，And the word of the LORD came unto him， saying，

　　17：9 你起身往西頓的撒勒法（撒勒法與路加福音四章二十六節(jié)同）去，住在那里。我已吩咐那里的一個寡婦供養(yǎng)你。

　　Arise， get thee to Zarephath， which belongeth to Zidon， and dwell there： behold， I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

　　17：10 以利亞就起身往撒勒法去。到了城門，見有一個寡婦在那里撿柴，以利亞呼叫她說，求你用器皿取點水來給我喝。

　　So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city， behold， the widow woman was there gathering of sticks： and he called to her， and said， Fetch me， I pray thee， a little water in a vessel， that I may drink.

　　17：11 她去取水的時候，以利亞又呼叫她說，也求你拿點餅來給我。

　　And as she was going to fetch it， he called to her， and said， Bring me， I pray thee， a morsel of bread in thine hand.

　　17：12 她說，我指著永生耶和華你的神起誓，我沒有餅，壇內(nèi)只有一把面，瓶里只有一點油。我現(xiàn)在找兩根柴，回家要為我和我兒子作餅。我們吃了，死就死吧。

　　And she said， As the LORD thy God liveth， I have not a cake， but an handful of meal in a barrel， and a little oil in a cruse： and， behold， I am gathering two sticks， that I may go in and dress it for me and my son， that we may eat it， and die.

　　17：13 以利亞對她說，不要懼怕。可以照你所說的去作吧。只要先為我作一個小餅拿來給我，然后為你和你的兒子作餅。

　　And Elijah said unto her， Fear not； go and do as thou hast said： but make me thereof a little cake first， and bring it unto me， and after make for thee and for thy son.

　　17：14 因為耶和華以色列的神如此說，壇內(nèi)的面必不減少，瓶里的油必不缺短，直到耶和華使雨降在地上的日子。

　　For thus saith the LORD God of Israel， The barrel of meal shall not waste， neither shall the cruse of oil fail， until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

　　17：15 婦人就照以利亞的話去行。她和她家中的人，并以利亞，吃了許多日子。

　　And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah： and she， and he， and her house， did eat many days.

　　17：16 壇內(nèi)的面果不減少，瓶里的油也不缺短，正如耶和華藉以利亞所說的話。

　　And the barrel of meal wasted not， neither did the cruse of oil fail， according to the word of the LORD， which he spake by Elijah.

　　17：17 這事以后，作那家主母的婦人，她兒子病了。病得甚重，以致身無氣息。

　　And it came to pass after these things， that the son of the woman， the mistress of the house， fell sick； and his sickness was so sore， that there was no breath left in him.

　　17：18 婦人對以利亞說，神人哪，我與你何干。你竟到我這里來，使神想念我的罪，以致我的兒子死呢。

　　And she said unto Elijah， What have I to do with thee， O thou man of God？ art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance， and to slay my son？

　　17：19 以利亞對她說，把你兒子交給我。以利亞就從婦人懷中將孩子接過來，抱到他所住的樓中，放在自己的床上，And he said unto her， Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom， and carried him up into a loft， where he abode， and laid him upon his own bed.

　　17：20 就求告耶和華說，耶和華我的神阿，我寄居在這寡婦的家里，你就降禍與她，使她的兒子死了嗎。

　　And he cried unto the LORD， and said， O LORD my God， hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn， by slaying her son？

　　17：21 以利亞三次伏在孩子的身上，求告耶和華說，耶和華我的神阿，求你使這孩子的靈魂仍入他的身體。

　　And he stretched himself upon the child three times， and cried unto the LORD， and said， O LORD my God， I pray thee， let this child's soul come into him again.

　　17：22 耶和華應允以利亞的話，孩子的靈魂仍入他的身體，他就活了。

　　And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah； and the soul of the child came into him again， and he revived.

　　17：23 以利亞將孩子從樓上抱下來，進屋子交給他母親，說，看哪，你的兒子活了。

　　And Elijah took the child， and brought him down out of the chamber into the house， and delivered him unto his mother： and Elijah said， See， thy son liveth.

　　17：24 婦人對以利亞說，現(xiàn)在我知道你是神人，耶和華藉你口所說的話是真的。

　　And the woman said to Elijah， Now by this I know that thou art a man of God， and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.
