18：1 大衛(wèi)對(duì)掃羅說(shuō)完了話，約拿單的心與大衛(wèi)的心深相契合。約拿單愛(ài)大衛(wèi)，如同愛(ài)自己的性命。

　　And it came to pass， when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul， that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David， and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

　　18：2 那日掃羅留住大衛(wèi)，不容他再回父家。

　　And Saul took him that day， and would let him go no more home to his father's house.

　　18：3 約拿單愛(ài)大衛(wèi)如同愛(ài)自己的性命，就與他結(jié)盟。

　　Then Jonathan and David made a covenant， because he loved him as his own soul.

　　18：4 約拿單從身上脫下外袍，給了大衛(wèi)，又將戰(zhàn)衣，刀，弓，腰帶都給了他。

　　And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him， and gave it to David， and his garments， even to his sword， and to his bow， and to his girdle.

　　18：5 掃羅無(wú)論差遣大衛(wèi)往何處去，他都作事精明。掃羅就立他作戰(zhàn)士長(zhǎng)，眾百姓和掃羅的臣仆無(wú)不喜悅。

　　And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him， and behaved himself wisely： and Saul set him over the men of war， and he was accepted in the sight of all the people， and also in the sight of Saul's servants.

　　18：6 大衛(wèi)打死了那非利士人，同眾人回來(lái)的時(shí)候，婦女們從以色列各城里出來(lái)，歡歡喜喜，打鼓擊磬，歌唱跳舞，迎接掃羅王。

　　And it came to pass as they came， when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine， that the women came out of all cities of Israel， singing and dancing， to meet king Saul， with tabrets， with joy， and with instruments of musick.

　　18：7 眾婦女舞蹈唱和，說(shuō)，掃羅殺死千千，大衛(wèi)殺死萬(wàn)萬(wàn)。

　　And the women answered one another as they played， and said， Saul hath slain his thousands， and David his ten thousands.

　　18：8 掃羅甚發(fā)怒，不喜悅這話，就說(shuō)，將萬(wàn)萬(wàn)歸大衛(wèi)，千千歸我，只剩下王位沒(méi)有給他了。

　　And Saul was very wroth， and the saying displeased him； and he said， They have ascribed unto David ten thousands， and to me they have ascribed but thousands： and what can he have more but the kingdom？

　　18：9 從這日起，掃羅就怒視大衛(wèi)。

　　And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

　　18：10 次日，從神那里來(lái)的惡魔大大降在掃羅身上，他就在家中胡言亂語(yǔ)。大衛(wèi)照常彈琴，掃羅手里拿著槍。

　　And it came to pass on the morrow， that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul， and he prophesied in the midst of the house： and David played with his hand， as at other times： and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.

　　18：11 掃羅把槍一掄，心里說(shuō)，我要將大衛(wèi)刺透，釘在墻上。大衛(wèi)躲避他兩次。

　　And Saul cast the javelin； for he said， I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

　　18：12 掃羅懼怕大衛(wèi)。因?yàn)橐腿A離開(kāi)自己，與大衛(wèi)同在。

　　And Saul was afraid of David， because the LORD was with him， and was departed from Saul.

　　18：13 所以掃羅使大衛(wèi)離開(kāi)自己，立他為千夫長(zhǎng)，他就領(lǐng)兵出入。

　　Therefore Saul removed him from him， and made him his captain over a thousand； and he went out and came in before the people.

　　18：14 大衛(wèi)作事無(wú)不精明，耶和華也與他同在。

　　And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways； and the LORD was with him.

　　18：15 掃羅見(jiàn)大衛(wèi)作事精明，就甚怕他。

　　Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely， he was afraid of him.

　　18：16 但以色列和猶大眾人都愛(ài)大衛(wèi)，因?yàn)樗I(lǐng)他們出入。

　　But all Israel and Judah loved David， because he went out and came in before them.

　　18：17 掃羅對(duì)大衛(wèi)說(shuō)，我將大女兒米拉給你為妻，只要你為我?jiàn)^勇，為耶和華爭(zhēng)戰(zhàn)。掃羅心里說(shuō)，我不好親手害他，要藉非利士人的手害他。

　　And Saul said to David， Behold my elder daughter Merab， her will I give thee to wife： only be thou valiant for me， and fight the LORD's battles. For Saul said， Let not mine hand be upon him， but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.

　　18：18 大衛(wèi)對(duì)掃羅說(shuō)，我是誰(shuí)，我是什么出身，我父家在以色列中是何等的家，豈敢作王的女婿呢。

　　And David said unto Saul， Who am I？ and what is my life， or my father's family in Israel， that I should be son in law to the king？

　　18：19 掃羅的女兒米拉到了當(dāng)給大衛(wèi)的時(shí)候，掃羅卻給了米何拉人亞得列為妻。

　　But it came to pass at the time when Merab Saul's daughter should have been given to David， that she was given unto Adriel the Meholathite to wife.

　　18：20 掃羅的次女米甲愛(ài)大衛(wèi)。有人告訴掃羅，掃羅就喜悅。

　　And Michal Saul's daughter loved David： and they told Saul， and the thing pleased him.

　　18：21 掃羅心里說(shuō)，我將這女兒給大衛(wèi)，作他的網(wǎng)羅，好藉非利士人的手害他。所以掃羅對(duì)大衛(wèi)說(shuō)，你今日可以第二次作我的女婿。

　　And Saul said， I will give him her， that she may be a snare to him， and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David， Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.

　　18：22 掃羅吩咐臣仆說(shuō)，你們暗中對(duì)大衛(wèi)說(shuō)，王喜悅你，王的臣仆也都喜愛(ài)你，所以你當(dāng)作王的女婿。

　　And Saul commanded his servants， saying， Commune with David secretly， and say， Behold， the king hath delight in thee， and all his servants love thee： now therefore be the king's son in law.

　　18：23 掃羅的臣仆就照這話說(shuō)給大衛(wèi)聽(tīng)。大衛(wèi)說(shuō)，你們以為作王的女婿是一件小事嗎。我是貧窮卑微的人。

　　And Saul's servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said， Seemeth it to you a light thing to be a king's son in law， seeing that I am a poor man， and lightly esteemed？

　　18：24 掃羅的臣仆回奏說(shuō)，大衛(wèi)所說(shuō)的如此如此。

　　And the servants of Saul told him， saying， On this manner spake David.

　　18：25 掃羅說(shuō)，你們要對(duì)大衛(wèi)這樣說(shuō)，王不要什么聘禮，只要一百非利士人的陽(yáng)皮，好在王的仇敵身上報(bào)仇。掃羅的意思要使大衛(wèi)喪在非利士人的手里。

　　And Saul said， Thus shall ye say to David， The king desireth not any dowry， but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines， to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

　　18：26 掃羅的臣仆將這話告訴大衛(wèi)，大衛(wèi)就歡喜作王的女婿。日期還沒(méi)有到，And when his servants told David these words， it pleased David well to be the king's son in law： and the days were not expired.

　　18：27 大衛(wèi)和跟隨他的人起身前往，殺了二百非利士人，將陽(yáng)皮滿數(shù)交給王，為要作王的女婿。于是掃羅將女兒米甲給大衛(wèi)為妻。

　　Wherefore David arose and went， he and his men， and slew of the Philistines two hundred men； and David brought their foreskins， and they gave them in full tale to the king， that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.

　　18：28 掃羅見(jiàn)耶和華與大衛(wèi)同在，又知道女兒米甲愛(ài)大衛(wèi)，And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David， and that Michal Saul's daughter loved him.

　　18：29 就更怕大衛(wèi)，常作大衛(wèi)的仇敵。

　　And Saul was yet the more afraid of David； and Saul became David's enemy continually.

　　18：30 每逢非利士軍長(zhǎng)出來(lái)打仗，大衛(wèi)比掃羅的臣仆作事精明，因此他的名被人尊重。

　　Then the princes of the Philistines went forth： and it came to pass， after they went forth， that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul； so that his name was much set by.
