143：1 （大衛(wèi)的詩）耶和華阿，求你聽我的禱告，留心聽我的懇求，憑你的信實和公義應(yīng)允我。
Hear my prayer， O LORD， give ear to my supplications： in thy faithfulness answer me， and in thy righteousness.
143：2 求你不要審問仆人。因為在你面前，凡活著的人，沒有一個是義的。
And enter not into judgment with thy servant： for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
143：3 原來仇敵逼迫我，將我打倒在地，使我住在幽暗之處，像死了許久的人一樣。
For the enemy hath persecuted my soul； he hath smitten my life down to the ground； he hath made me to dwell in darkness， as those that have been long dead.
143：4 所以，我的靈在我里面發(fā)昏。我的心在我里面凄慘。
Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me； my heart within me is desolate.
143：5 我追想古時之日，思想你的一切作為，默念你手的工作。
I remember the days of old； I meditate on all thy works； I muse on the work of thy hands.
143：6 我向你舉手。我的心渴想你，如乾旱之地盼雨一樣。（細拉）
I stretch forth my hands unto thee： my soul thirsteth after thee， as a thirsty land. Selah.
143：7 耶和華阿，求你速速應(yīng)允我。我心神耗盡。不要向我掩面，免得我像那些下坑的人一樣。
Hear me speedily， O LORD： my spirit faileth： hide not thy face from me， lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
143：8 求你使我清晨得聽你慈愛之言，因我倚靠你。求你使我知道當(dāng)行的路，因我的心仰望你。
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning； for in thee do I trust： cause me to know the way wherein I should walk； for I lift up my soul unto thee.
143：9 耶和華阿，求你救我脫離我的仇敵。我往你那里藏身。
Deliver me， O LORD， from mine enemies： I flee unto thee to hide me.
143：10 求你指教我遵行你的旨意，因你是我的神。你的靈本為善。求你引我到平坦之地。
Teach me to do thy will； for thou art my God： thy spirit is good； lead me into the land of uprightness.
143：11 耶和華阿，求你為你的名將我救活。憑你的公義，將我從患難中領(lǐng)出來。
Quicken me， O LORD， for thy name's sake： for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
143：12 憑你的慈愛剪除我的仇敵，滅絕一切苦待我的人，因我是你的仆人。
And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies， and destroy all them that afflict my soul： for I am thy servant.
