10：1 我保羅就是與你們見面的時候是謙卑的，不在你們那里的時候向你們是勇敢的，如今親自藉著基督的溫柔和平，勸你們。

　　Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ， who in presence am base among you， but being absent am bold toward you：

　　10：2 有人以為我是憑著血氣行事，我也以為必須用勇敢待這等人，求你們不要叫我在你們那里的時候，有這樣的勇敢。

　　But I beseech you， that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence， wherewith I think to be bold against some， which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

　　10：3 因為我們雖然在血氣中行事，卻不憑著血氣爭戰(zhàn)。

　　For though we walk in the flesh， we do not war after the flesh：

　　10：4 我們爭戰(zhàn)的兵器，本不是屬血氣的，乃是在神面前有能力可以攻破堅固的營壘，（For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal， but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds；）

　　10：5 將各樣的計謀，各樣攔阻人認識神的那些自高之事，一概攻破了，又將人所有的心意奪回，使他都順服基督。

　　Casting down imaginations， and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God， and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ；

　　10：6 并且我已經(jīng)豫備好了，等你們十分順服的時候，要責(zé)罰那一切不順服的人。

　　And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience， when your obedience is fulfilled.

　　10：7 你們是看眼前的嗎。倘若有人自信是屬基督的，他要再想想，他如何屬基督，我們也是如何屬基督的。

　　Do ye look on things after the outward appearance？ If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's， let him of himself think this again， that， as he is Christ's， even so are we Christ's.

　　10：8 主賜給我們權(quán)柄是要造就你們，并不是要敗壞你們。我就是為這權(quán)柄稍微夸口，也不至于慚愧。

　　For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority， which the Lord hath given us for edification， and not for your destruction， I should not be ashamed：

　　10：9 我說這話免得你們以為我寫信是要威嚇你們。

　　That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.

　　10：10 因為有人說，他的信，又沉重，又利害。及至見面，卻是氣貌不揚，言語粗俗的。

　　For his letters， say they， are weighty and powerful； but his bodily presence is weak， and his speech contemptible.

　　10：11 這等人當想，我們不在那里的時候，信上的言語如何，見面的時候，行事也必如何。

　　Let such an one think this， that， such as we are in word by letters when we are absent， such will we be also in deed when we are present.

　　10：12 因為我們不敢將自己和那自薦的人同列相比。他們用自己度量自己，用自己比較自己，乃是不通達的。

　　For we dare not make ourselves of the number， or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves： but they measuring themselves by themselves， and comparing themselves among themselves， are not wise.

　　10：13 我們不愿意分外夸口，只要照神所量給我們的界限，構(gòu)到你們那里。

　　But we will not boast of things without our measure， but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us， a measure to reach even unto you.

　　10：14 我們并非過了自己的界限，好像構(gòu)不到你們那里。因為我們早到你們那里，傳了基督的福音。

　　For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure， as though we reached not unto you： for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ：

　　10：15 我們不仗著別人所勞碌的，分外夸口。但指望你們信心增長的時候，所量給我們的界限，就可以因著你們更加開展，Not boasting of things without our measure， that is， of other men's labours； but having hope， when your faith is increased， that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly，

　　10：16 得以將福音傳到你們以外的地方，并不是在別人界限之內(nèi)，藉著他現(xiàn)成的事夸口。

　　To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you， and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.

　　10：17 但夸口的當指著主夸口。

　　But he that glorieth， let him glory in the Lord.

　　10：18 因為蒙悅納的，不是自己稱許的，乃是主所稱許的。

　　For not he that commendeth himself is approved， but whom the Lord commendeth.
