One day when women's dresses were on sale at the Far East Department Store, a dignified middle-aged man decided to get his wife a piece. But he soon found himself being battered by frantic women.
He stood it as long as he could; then, with head lowered and arms flailing（用力揮動(dòng)）, he plowed through the crowd.
"You there!" challenged a thrill voice. "Can't you act like a gentleman?"
"Listen," he said, "I have been acting like a gentleman for an hour. From now on, I am acting like a lady."
有天遠(yuǎn)東百貨商場(chǎng)女裝大減價(jià)，一位有身份的中年男子打算給太太來一件，可他很快發(fā)現(xiàn)自己被這幫瘋了似的娘兒們給好一通蹂躪。
他先還盡量忍著，最后他一埋頭，甩開膀子，拼命趟過人堆。
“你，那誰(shuí)！”有個(gè)激烈的聲音責(zé)問他，“你就不能表現(xiàn)得像個(gè)紳士嗎？”
“聽著，”他說，“我表現(xiàn)得像個(gè)紳士都一個(gè)鐘頭了，打現(xiàn)在起，我要表現(xiàn)得像個(gè)女士！”
