A choice of weapons
Little Peter came home from the playground. His nose was bloody. His eyes were black. His clothing was torn. It was obvious he'd been in a bad fight and lost. His father asked him what happened.
"Well, Dad," said Peter. "I challenged Larry to a duel. You know, I gave him his choice of weapons."
"Uh-huh," said his father. "That seems fair."
"I know, but I never thought he'd choose his sister！"
Peter從運動場回到家里。他的鼻子流著血,眼睛青紫,衣服也撕破了。很顯然他剛和別人打了一架而且輸了。他的爸爸問他是怎么回事。
Peter回答到:“爸爸,我挑戰了Larry,和他決斗。你知道,我讓他選擇武器。”
“唔,”爸爸說到,“看起來很公平啊！”
“是的。但是,我一點也沒想到他會選擇他的妹妹做武器！”
A glass of water
David sends his son to bed. Five minutes later ……
"Da-ad……"
"What？" "I'm thirsty. Can you bring me a glass of water？"
"No. You had your chance. Light's out."
Five minutes later…… "Da-aaaad……"
"WHAT？"
"I'm THIRSTY. Can I have a glass of water？？"
"I told you NO！ If you ask again, I'll have to spank you！！"
Five minutes later…… "Daaaa-aaaad……"
"WHAT！"
"When you come in to spank me, can you bring me a glass of water？"
David 把他的兒子送上床睡覺去了。5分鐘后……
“爸爸……”
“干嘛？”“我渴了。你能給我拿點水來嗎？”
“不行,誰讓你剛才不喝的。我已經關了燈了。”
5分鐘后…… “爸爸……”
“干嘛？”
“我很渴。能讓我喝點水嗎？”
“我說了不行！要是你再要,我就打你的屁股！”
5分鐘后…… “爸爸……”
“干嘛？！”
“你來打我屁股的時候,能給我拿點水來嗎？”
