Wrong number
Ron had been talking on the phone for about half an hour before he hung up. His father said, "Wow！ That was short. You usually talk for an hour. What happened？"
Ron replied, "It was a wrong number."
Ron打了半個小時電話才掛掉。他爸爸很驚奇:“咦,才打了這么久。你平時不是都打一個小時的嗎？到底怎么了？”
Ron回答到:“我打錯了。”
Weigh your son
An angry woman burst into the baker's shop and said, "I sent my son in for two pounds of cookies this morning, but when I weighed them there was only one pound. I suggest that you check your scales."
The baker looked at her calmly for a moment or two and then replied, "Ma'am, I suggest you weigh your son."
一個怒氣沖沖的女人沖進(jìn)蛋糕店,對店員說到:“今天早晨我讓我兒子來買兩磅餅干。但是我稱的時候發(fā)現(xiàn)只有一磅。我建議您檢查一下您的秤。”
店員平靜的看了這個女人一會兒,回答到:“夫人,我建議您稱一下您的兒子。”
