21：1 住南地的迦南人亞拉得王，聽(tīng)說(shuō)以色列人從亞他林路來(lái)，就和以色列人爭(zhēng)戰(zhàn)，擄了他們幾個(gè)人。

　　And when king Arad the Canaanite， which dwelt in the south， heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies； then he fought against Israel， and took some of them prisoners.

　　21：2 以色列人向耶和華發(fā)愿說(shuō)，你若將這民交付我手，我就把他們的城邑盡行毀滅。

　　And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD， and said， If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand， then I will utterly destroy their cities.

　　21：3 耶和華應(yīng)允了以色列人，把迦南人交付他們，他們就把迦南人和迦南人的城邑盡行毀滅。那地方的名便叫何珥瑪（何珥瑪就是毀滅的意思）。

　　And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel， and delivered up the Canaanites； and they utterly destroyed them and their cities： and he called the name of the place Hormah.

　　21：4 他們從何珥山起行，往紅海那條路走，要繞過(guò)以東地。百姓因這路難行，心中甚是煩躁，And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea， to compass the land of Edom： and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

　　21：5 就怨？？神和摩西說(shuō)，你們?yōu)槭裁窗盐覀儚陌＜邦I(lǐng)出來(lái)，使我們死在曠野呢，這里沒(méi)有糧，沒(méi)有水，我們的心厭惡這淡薄的食物。

　　And the people spake against God， and against Moses， Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness？ for there is no bread， neither is there any water； and our soul loatheth this light bread.

　　21：6 于是耶和華使火蛇進(jìn)入百姓中間，蛇就咬他們。以色列人中死了許多。

　　And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people， and they bit the people； and much people of Israel died.

　　21：7 百姓到摩西那里，說(shuō)，我們?cè)梗浚恳腿A和你，有罪了。求你禱告耶和華，叫這些蛇離開(kāi)我們。于是摩西為百姓禱告。

　　Therefore the people came to Moses， and said， We have sinned， for we have spoken against the LORD， and against thee； pray unto the LORD， that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

　　21：8 耶和華對(duì)摩西說(shuō)，你制造一條火蛇，掛在桿子上。凡被咬的，一望這蛇，就必得活。

　　And the LORD said unto Moses， Make thee a fiery serpent， and set it upon a pole： and it shall come to pass， that every one that is bitten， when he looketh upon it， shall live.

　　21：9 摩西便制造一條銅蛇，掛在桿子上。凡被蛇咬的，一望這銅蛇就活了。

　　And Moses made a serpent of brass， and put it upon a pole， and it came to pass， that if a serpent had bitten any man， when he beheld the serpent of brass， he lived.

　　21：10 以色列人起行，安營(yíng)在阿伯。

　　And the children of Israel set forward， and pitched in Oboth.

　　21：11 又從阿伯起行，安營(yíng)在以耶亞巴琳，與摩押相對(duì)的曠野，向日出之地。

　　And they journeyed from Oboth， and pitched at Ijeabarim， in the wilderness which is before Moab， toward the sunrising.

　　21：12 從那里起行，安營(yíng)在撒烈谷。

　　From thence they removed， and pitched in the valley of Zared.

　　21：13 從那里起行，安營(yíng)在亞嫩河那邊。這亞嫩河是在曠野，從亞摩利的境界流出來(lái)的。原來(lái)亞嫩河是摩押的邊界，在摩押和亞摩利人搭界的地方。

　　From thence they removed， and pitched on the other side of Arnon， which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites： for Arnon is the border of Moab， between Moab and the Amorites.

　　21：14 所以耶和華的戰(zhàn)記上說(shuō)，蘇法的哇哈伯與亞嫩河的谷，Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD， What he did in the Red sea， and in the brooks of Arnon，

　　21：15 并向亞珥城眾谷的下坡，是靠近摩押的境界。

　　And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar， and lieth upon the border of Moab.

　　21：16 以色列人從那里起行，到了比珥（比珥就是井的意思）。從前耶和華吩咐摩西說(shuō)，招聚百姓，我好給他們水喝，說(shuō)的就是這井。

　　And from thence they went to Beer： that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto Moses， Gather the people together， and I will give them water.

　　21：17 當(dāng)時(shí)，以色列人唱歌說(shuō)，井阿，涌上水來(lái)。你們要向這井歌唱。

　　Then Israel sang this song， Spring up， O well； sing ye unto it：

　　21：18 這井是首領(lǐng)和民中的尊貴人用圭用杖所挖所掘的。以色列人從曠野往瑪他拿去，The princes digged the well， the nobles of the people digged it， by the direction of the lawgiver， with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah：

　　21：19 從瑪他拿到拿哈列，從拿哈列到巴末，And from Mattanah to Nahaliel： and from Nahaliel to Bamoth：

　　21：20 從巴末到摩押地的谷，又到那下望曠野之毗斯迦的山頂。

　　And from Bamoth in the valley， that is in the country of Moab， to the top of Pisgah， which looketh toward Jeshimon.

　　21：21 以色列人差遣使者去見(jiàn)亞摩利人的王西宏，說(shuō)，And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites， saying，

　　21：22 求你容我們從你的地經(jīng)過(guò)。我們不偏入田間和葡萄園，也不喝井里的水，只走大道（原文作王道），直到過(guò)了你的境界。

　　Let me pass through thy land： we will not turn into the fields， or into the vineyards； we will not drink of the waters of the well： but we will go along by the king's high way， until we be past thy borders.

　　21：23 西宏不容以色列人從他的境界經(jīng)過(guò)，就招聚他的眾民出到曠野，要攻擊以色列人，到了雅雜與以色列人爭(zhēng)戰(zhàn)。

　　And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border： but Sihon gathered all his people together， and went out against Israel into the wilderness： and he came to Jahaz， and fought against Israel.

　　21：24 以色列人用刀殺了他，得了他的地，從亞嫩河到雅博河，直到亞捫人的境界，因?yàn)閬啋腥说木辰缍嘤袌?jiān)壘。

　　And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword， and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok， even unto the children of Ammon： for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.

　　21：25 以色列人奪取這一切的城邑，也住亞摩利人的城邑，就是希實(shí)本與希實(shí)本的一切鄉(xiāng)村。

　　And Israel took all these cities： and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites， in Heshbon， and in all the villages thereof.

　　21：26 這希實(shí)本是亞摩利王西宏的京城。西宏曾與摩押的先王爭(zhēng)戰(zhàn)，從他手中奪取了全地，直到亞嫩河。

　　For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites， who had fought against the former king of Moab， and taken all his land out of his hand， even unto Arnon.

　　21：27 所以那些作詩(shī)歌的說(shuō)，你們來(lái)到希實(shí)本。愿西宏的城被修造，被建立。

　　Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say， Come into Heshbon， let the city of Sihon be built and prepared：

　　21：28 因?yàn)橛谢饛南?shí)本發(fā)出，有火焰出于西宏的城，燒盡摩押的亞珥和亞嫩河邱壇的祭司（祭司原文作主）。

　　For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon， a flame from the city of Sihon： it hath consumed Ar of Moab， and the lords of the high places of Arnon.

　　21：29 摩押阿，你有禍了。基抹的民哪，你們滅亡了。基抹的男子逃奔，女子被擄，交付亞摩利的王西宏。

　　Woe to thee， Moab！ thou art undone， O people of Chemosh： he hath given his sons that escaped， and his daughters， into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.

　　21：30 我們射了他們。希實(shí)本直到底本盡皆毀滅。我們使地變成荒場(chǎng)，直到挪法。這挪法直延到米底巴。

　　We have shot at them； Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon， and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah， which reacheth unto Medeba.

　　21：31 這樣，以色列人就住在亞摩利人之地。

　　Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.

　　21：32 摩西打發(fā)人去窺探雅謝，以色列人就占了雅謝的鎮(zhèn)市，趕出那里的亞摩利人。

　　And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer， and they took the villages thereof， and drove out the Amorites that were there.

　　21：33 以色列人轉(zhuǎn)回，向巴珊去。巴珊王噩和他的眾民都出來(lái)，在以得來(lái)與他們交戰(zhàn)。

　　And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan： and Og the king of Bashan went out against them， he， and all his people， to the battle at Edrei.

　　21：34 耶和華對(duì)摩西說(shuō)，不要怕他。因我已將他和他的眾民，并他的地，都交在你手中。你要待他像從前待住希實(shí)本的亞摩利王西宏一般。

　　And the LORD said unto Moses， Fear him not： for I have delivered him into thy hand， and all his people， and his land； and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites， which dwelt at Heshbon.

　　21：35 于是他們殺了他和他的眾子，并他的眾民，沒(méi)有留下一個(gè)，就得了他的地。

　　So they smote him， and his sons， and all his people， until there was none left him alive： and they possessed his land.
