1：1 奉神旨意，蒙召作耶穌基督使徒的保羅，同兄弟所提尼，Paul， called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God， and Sosthenes our brother，

　　1：2 寫信給在哥林多神的教會(huì)，就是在基督耶穌里成圣，蒙召作圣徒的，以及所有在各處求告我主耶穌基督之名的人?；绞撬麄兊闹?，也是我們的主。

　　Unto the church of God which is at Corinth， to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus， called to be saints， with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord， both theirs and ours：

　　1：3 愿恩惠平安，從神我們的父，并主耶穌基督，歸與你們。

　　Grace be unto you， and peace， from God our Father， and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

　　1：4 我常為你們感謝我的神，因神在基督耶穌里所賜給你們的恩惠。

　　I thank my God always on your behalf， for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ；

　　1：5 又因你們在他里面凡事富足，口才知識(shí)都全備。

　　That in every thing ye are enriched by him， in all utterance， and in all knowledge；

　　1：6 正如我為基督作的見證，在你們心里得以堅(jiān)固。

　　Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you：

　　1：7 以致你們在恩賜上沒有一樣不及人的。等候我們的主耶穌基督顯現(xiàn)。

　　So that ye come behind in no gift； waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ：

　　1：8 他也必堅(jiān)固你們到底，叫你們在我們主耶穌基督的日子，無可責(zé)備。

　　Who shall also confirm you unto the end， that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

　　1：9 神是信實(shí)的，你們原是被他所召，好與他兒子，我們的主耶穌基督，一同得分。

　　God is faithful， by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

　　1：10 弟兄們，我藉我們主耶穌基督的名，勸你們都說一樣的話。你們中間也不可分黨。只要一心一意彼此相合。

　　Now I beseech you， brethren， by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ， that ye all speak the same thing， and that there be no divisions among you； but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

　　1：11 因?yàn)楦飦硎霞依锏娜?，曾對我題起弟兄們來，說你們中間有分爭。

　　For it hath been declared unto me of you， my brethren， by them which are of the house of Chloe， that there are contentions among you.

　　1：12 我的意思就是你們各人說，我是屬保羅的。我是屬亞波羅的。我是屬磯法的。我是屬基督的。

　　Now this I say， that every one of you saith， I am of Paul； and I of Apollos； and I of Cephas； and I of Christ.

　　1：13 基督是分開的嗎。保羅為你們釘了十字架嗎。你們是奉保羅的名受了洗嗎。

　　Is Christ divided？ was Paul crucified for you？ or were ye baptized in the name of Paul？

　　1：14 我感謝神，除了基列司布并該猶以外，我沒有給你們一個(gè)人施洗。

　　I thank God that I baptized none of you， but Crispus and Gaius；

　　1：15 免得有人說，你們是奉我的名受洗。

　　Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

　　1：16 我也給司提反家施過洗。此外給別人施洗沒有，我卻記不清。

　　And I baptized also the household of Stephanas： besides， I know not whether I baptized any other.

　　1：17 基督差遣我，原不是為施洗，乃是為傳福音。并不用智慧的言語，免得基督的十字架落了空。

　　For Christ sent me not to baptize， but to preach the gospel： not with wisdom of words， lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

　　1：18 因?yàn)槭旨艿牡览?，在那滅亡的人為愚拙。在我們得救的人卻為神的大能。

　　For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness； but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

　　1：19 就如經(jīng)上所記，我要滅絕智慧人的智慧，廢棄聰明人的聰明。

　　For it is written， I will destroy the wisdom of the wise， and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

　　1：20 智慧人在那里文士在那里。這世上的辯士在那里。神豈不是叫這世上的智慧變成愚拙嗎。

　　Where is the wise？ where is the scribe？ where is the disputer of this world？ hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world？

　　1：21 世人憑自己的智慧，既不認(rèn)識(shí)神，神就樂意用人所當(dāng)作愚拙的道理，拯救那些信的人。這就是神的智慧了。

　　For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God， it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

　　1：22 猶太人是要神跡，希臘人是求智慧。

　　For the Jews require a sign， and the Greeks seek after wisdom：

　　1：23 我們卻是傳釘十字架的基督，在猶太人為絆腳石，在外邦人為愚拙。

　　But we preach Christ crucified， unto the Jews a stumblingblock， and unto the Greeks foolishness；

　　1：24 但在那蒙召的無論是猶太人，希臘人，基督總為神的能力，神的智慧。

　　But unto them which are called， both Jews and Greeks， Christ the power of God， and the wisdom of God.

　　1：25 因神的愚拙總比人智慧。神的軟弱總比人強(qiáng)壯。

　　Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men； and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

　　1：26 弟兄們哪，可見你們蒙召的，按著肉體有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊貴的也不多。

　　For ye see your calling， brethren， how that not many wise men after the flesh， not many mighty， not many noble， are called：

　　1：27 神卻揀選了世上愚拙的，叫有智慧的羞愧。又揀選了世上軟弱的，叫那強(qiáng)壯的羞愧。

　　But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise； and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty；

　　1：28 神也揀選了世上卑賤的，被人厭惡的，以及那無有的，為要廢掉那有的。

　　And base things of the world， and things which are despised， hath God chosen， yea， and things which are not， to bring to nought things that are：

　　1：29 使一切有血?dú)獾?，在神面前一個(gè)也不能自夸。

　　That no flesh should glory in his presence.

　　1：30 但你們得在基督耶穌里，是本乎神，神又使他成為我們的智慧，公義，圣潔，救贖。

　　But of him are ye in Christ Jesus， who of God is made unto us wisdom， and righteousness， and sanctification， and redemption：

　　1：31 如經(jīng)上所記，夸口的當(dāng)指著主夸口。

　　That， according as it is written， He that glorieth， let him glory in the Lord.
