“About four hours，” was the quickly reply.
“Why，he told us he’d been there a long time，” said the caller.
“Oh，yes，” answered the ex-employer，“He’s been here two years.”
一家公司的人事部門正在核查一份求職函的真實性，工作人員找到了函中提到的舊雇主，并問他：“這個人為你工作了多久？”
舊雇主馬上回答：“大約四個鐘頭。”
工作人員有些吃驚，“什么？他說在你這里好久的。”
舊雇主說：“哼，不錯，他在這里呆了整整兩年。”
