鳥(niǎo)兒有四種不同的飛行方式。
鳥(niǎo)兒能振動(dòng)翅膀、高飛、滑翔和盤(pán)旋。
許多鳥(niǎo)都是通過(guò)振動(dòng)翅膀來(lái)飛行的。
大型捕食鳥(niǎo)兒在暖氣流上飛翔。
他們滑翔的時(shí)候不需要振動(dòng)翅膀。
There are four different ways of flying.
Birds can flap their wings, soar, glide or hover.
Many birds fly by flapping theirs wings.
Large birds of prey soar on drafts of warm air,
They do not need to flap their long wings while soaring.
大的海鳥(niǎo),如漂泊信天翁,在海洋上空滑翔。
有的鳥(niǎo),如蜂鳥(niǎo),為了保持在一個(gè)地方必須不停地快速拍打翅膀。
我們稱(chēng)之為盤(pán)旋。
Large sea birds, such as the wandering albatross, glide over the sea.
Some birds, such as the hummingbird,beat their wings very fast to stay in one spot.
This is called hovering.
