舊約 -- 詩篇(Psalms) -- 第72章
72：1 （所羅門的詩）神阿，求你將判斷的權柄賜給王，將公義賜給王的兒子。
Give the king thy judgments， O God， and thy righteousness unto the king's son.
72：2 他要按公義審判你的民，按公平審判你的困苦人。
He shall judge thy people with righteousness， and thy poor with judgment.
72：3 大山小山，都要因公義使民得享平安。
The mountains shall bring peace to the people， and the little hills， by righteousness.
72：4 他必為民中的困苦人伸冤，拯救窮乏之輩，壓碎那欺壓人的。
He shall judge the poor of the people， he shall save the children of the needy， and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
72：5 太陽還存，月亮還在，人要敬畏你，直到萬代。
They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure， throughout all generations.
72：6 他必降臨，像雨降在已割的草地上，如甘霖滋潤田地。
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass： as showers that water the earth.
72：7 在他的日子義人要發旺，大有平安，好像月亮長存。
In his days shall the righteous flourish； and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth.
72：8 他要執掌權柄，從這海直到那海，從大河直到地極。
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea， and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
72：9 住在曠野的，必在他面前下拜。他的仇敵，必要舔土。
They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him； and his enemies shall lick the dust.
72：10 他施和海島的王要進貢。示巴和西巴的王要獻禮物。
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents： the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
72：11 諸王都要叩拜他，萬國都要事奉他。
Yea， all kings shall fall down before him： all nations shall serve him.
72：12 因為窮乏人呼求的時候，他要搭救，沒有人幫助的困苦人，他也要搭救。
For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth； the poor also， and him that hath no helper.
72：13 他要憐恤貧寒和窮乏的人，拯救窮苦人的性命。
He shall spare the poor and needy， and shall save the souls of the needy.
72：14 他要救贖他們脫離欺壓和強暴。他們的血在他眼中看為寶貴。
He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence： and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
72：15 他們要存活。示巴的金子要奉給他。人要常常為他禱告，終日稱頌他。
And he shall live， and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba： prayer also shall be made for him continually； and daily shall he be praised.
72：16 在地的山頂上，五谷必然茂盛。（五谷必然茂盛或作有一把五谷）所結的谷實，要響動如黎巴嫩的樹林。城里的人，要發旺如地上的草。
There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains； the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon： and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
72：17 他的名要存到永遠，要留傳如日之久。人要因他蒙福。萬國要稱他有福。
His name shall endure for ever： his name shall be continued as long as the sun： and men shall be blessed in him： all nations shall call him blessed.
72：18 獨行奇事的耶和華以色列的神，是應當稱頌的。
Blessed be the LORD God， the God of Israel， who only doeth wondrous things.
72：19 他榮耀的名，也當稱頌，直到永遠。愿他的榮耀，充滿全地。阿們，阿們。
And blessed be his glorious name for ever： and let the whole earth be filled with his glory； Amen， and Amen.
72：20 耶西的兒子大衛的祈禱完畢。
The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
