“Please be gentle with me , darling,” said the bride on her wedding night, “I’m a virgin.”

“You’re a virgin?” exclaimed her husband with surprise. “But you’ve been married three times.”

1.fool vt. 愚弄 & vi. 游手好閑
fool around 鬼混；欺騙
=goof around
例：Don't fool me. I'm not a three-old boy.

2.gentle a. 溫柔的；彬彬有禮的
gentleman n. 紳士；先生
例：No gentleman would ever talk that way to a lady.

bridesmaid n. 女儐相

7.artist n. 藝術家；畫家
artistic a. 有鑒賞力的；藝術的
例：He looks like an artist and talks like an artist, but that doesn't mean he is an artist.
（他看起來像一位藝術家，說起話來也像藝術家，但那不意味著他真的是位藝術家。）
8.advertise vt. 為……做廣告
advertisement n. 廣告（簡寫作 ad ）
place an ad 刊登廣告
classified ad 分類廣告
例：Rodney placed an ad in the paper for a red-hot lover and his own wife answered it.
